He jumps up and pulls me into his chest. "Let her go boy." Dad says and I can feel his growl shake my chest as he holds me tight. "Mine!" Titan growls dipping his head to my neck and breathing deeply. "Come on Meme." Dad says holding his hand out to me. He looks worried. Will Titan hurt me? I thought mates couldn't hurt each other? Titan pulls me tighter to him. "Titan! Let her go! You're hurting her!" As soon as dad says that I feel Titan loosen his grip slightly. I turn so that I can look up at him and place my hand on his face forcing him to focus on me instead of my dad. When he finally looks in my eyes he seems worried. "I'm ok." I whisper trying to calm him... "you can let me go." He growls again and seems to panic at the thought of losing me. "Mine!" Titan says. Dad tries to reach for me. When Titan sees his movement he pulls me away from my dad and growls again "Mine!" He says desperately trying to keep me close to him. "He's my dad, Titan... he won't hurt me." I try to soothe the beast. I don't really want to let him go but I know if this goes on much longer Titan will get hurt. "Mine!" He growls softly, nuzzling his nose into my neck. "Yours." I whisper pulling away so I can hold his face. "But I need to go to my dad right now... please Titan." I beg him. He looks over to my dad who is still holding out his hand expectantly then looks back to me. With a nod he let's me go and I take my dad's hand. "Take him!" Dad commands as he pulls me away. Many men tackle Titan to the ground.

This is the story of Alpha Carson and his mate Katie. It is backstory for Alpha Aaron's parents as requested by one of my readers. If you haven't read the other books I'll give you a heads up this story centers around an extremely abusive relationship. (Not a happy ending) Read at your own risk. Story excerpt "Hurry up, Katie! Time to shift." Zoey pushes me snapping me out of my daze. I quickly strip and shift shaking out my alburn fur. A dominant howl rings over us and we all join in the chorus. Alpha Carson takes off running followed closely by Beta James. The rest of the pack quickly joins them running past each other jumping around. Alot of adults acting like pups. I love it! My wolf is getting ancy. She wants me to take off full speed. She is howling for control. I concede to her desire somewhat and we take off dodging under the larger wolves. I am exceptionally small allowing me to slip between the massive warriors. Before I know it I am nearly in the front. Everyone knows never to pass out the Alpha... but apparently my wolf forgot this rule as she forces us ahead. Soon we are in the lead and pulling away from the pack. In an instant I feel hot breath on my back. Before I can register what is happening I am pinned under a large male wolf... the Alpha.

Just in case you didn't pay attention in your history class I'm gonna start off by telling ya'll a little story. Once upon a time werewolves and humans lived at peace... only because humans didn't know werewolves existed. All was well untill someone spilled the beans. No one knows who let it slip but once the world found out wolves were hunted. Now I know what you're thinking. 'Wolves are stronger' 'they would kill all the humans'. And you'd be right wolves are stronger, faster, bigger, they learn more quickly... one would think they would destroy the human race easily... but you forgot one thing. Numbers. The human population vastly outnumbered the wolves. Adding silver bullets into the mix the werewolf population was decimated. After the great war all wolves were exterminated leaving the humans to finally live at peace... well that's what the humans think. Hay! I'm Everine Filece Waylon and I am a werewolf.

I have full run of the place all I could ever wish is given to me at a simple request. I train every day with the best fighters. Then I watch tv hang out with friends. Eat what ever I want. Everything you could wish for at my fingertips. So why do I hate my life you ask? I open my door. "Do you need anything princess?" Dalton asks from his perch outside my door. "Will you ever go back to calling me Lilly?" I ask rolling my eyes at his formality. We grew up together and he was my best friend. Now that he works directly for my father he is bound by father's stupid rules. "You know I can't." Dalton says as he looks at the ground "Your father would kill me" "I'm going for a run." I say bluntly and turn my back to him. Dalton grabs my arm. "Wait you have to get permission" I twist out of his grasp and he grabs my other arm. Pulling me into him. "So concerned with my father Alt? What would he say if he saw us now?" I whispered in his ear. That got his attention and he released me on the spot. I step away and stand tall. "I could tell father and..." "You wouldn't" Dalton says with his stupid grin I havent seen seance we were pups. I lean in "Maybe, maybe not, who knows what might slip, Alt. You know I'm bad at keeping secrets." "NO! Come on please. I don't want to lose my position. (or my life) You wouldn't do that to me would you Lil?" I got him. As soon as I heard my name slip his lips I knew I'd won. "Tit for tat Alt. I keep your secret you keep mine. Now, I AM going for a run." Dalton rolls his eyes and reclaims his position at my door. "One hour" he says "or I'll tell your father myself!"

An elementary aged wolf raised by humans. Everything changes after his first shift. A continuation of "Alpha Lilly". You can read it without reading the first but you'll know the characters better if you read them in order. The next book will be "Raised By Wolves" a werewolf pup adopted by wild wolves so check it out when it becomes available. Story excerpt "I was found bleeding in the road. They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and brushed from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.

The Dark Clay pack has a tradition. Once a year all the 18 year olds trek to the boarder of the Black Water pack. A very powerful pack and their closest neighbor. A simple task cross the border and make it back touching a tree the goal. Its silly. Pointless to an onlooker but to the young adults who partake it is a thrill, a right of passage. This is where we meet Mini. A little wolf with a lot to prove. Her run however does not go as planned when a member of the Black Water pack catches her. What will happen to our little Mini? Read to find out. (This short story runs parallel to Alpha Lilly so if you like this give it a try.) Story excerpt As I run I never look back but I don't have to. Soon I see four wolves scream past me. "They saw us!" Riley links as he runs past. "Run!" I pick up the pace moving as fast as two legs can. Soon I am tackled to the ground. A large man pins me down with my hands above my head and my legs trapped beneath him. "Hay little one your friends just left you... how rude!" He smirks. The three men around him laugh. "Get off of me you baboon!" I yell. "Baboon?! Really... I don't look like a baboon... no little girl... I'm a wolf!"

All werewolves have mates. So what happens when you fall for someone before you're 18... "Hopefully hes my mate" is all Markie can think as she waits for her 18th. This is a short story that takes place in the middle of "Orphan Wolf". It can be read independently but will have spoilers if you intend to read "Orphan Wolf"... I of course would suggest you read it and pause at the point I marked to read "Markie" but the choice is yours. Story excerpt "Come on Ryan leave me alone!" A boy yells. "You started it Francis... come on pup don't start that with me... I don't have time for this! GO HOME!" I felt the command. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.

Marking. It is something that mates do to claim another wolf as their own. What happens when a mark is forced? What if it's done in anger not love? Ryan is a soon to be Alpha. He is easily swayed by his friends. A Territory dispute causes him to do things that he doesn't like but he convinces himself are for the best. This is a story of redemption. It is a short story mainly to give you background for the story "Markie". What can I say? I'm a sucker for backstories. Please read Markie first. I'd hate to taint your opinion of Ryan before you read Markie's story. Story excerpt I can't believe we just walked away!" Tray yells. "Its for the best." Matt tries to calm him. "You know other packs run off intruders!" Tray continues to yell. "What do you suggest we do?" I ask. I see a devilish smirk cross his face. "You know I heard some guys will mark a girl and run off." Tray suggests. I can't believe that! Marking someone that's not your mate? It ties you to them how will that run them off? "You're nuts! Marking someone as your mate ties them to you it doesn't drive them away!" I tell him. Tray laughs. "You are so naive my little Alpha!" I growl at him and he holds his hands up. "Ok listen Ryan." Tray starts up again. "It only ties you to her if she marks you back. If she doesn't it's just really embarrassing for her. She gets all emotional for a couple of days and then the mark fades... but if you do that I can promise you she will never cross the border again." "That doesn't help us with Jack." I say. "The girls stop coming the guys will too." Tray assures me. Well if it won't really hurt her and will stop them coming I'm game.

What happens when an abusive Alpha's heir doesn't inherit his father's Alpha. The backstory for Carson from my book Alpha Lilly. You'll meet a young Aaron and Lilly and see how Carson got to Red River. You also get to see how he and Samantha meet. You can read this without reading Alpha Lilly considering it is all backstory. I will say you should read the other first if you want to get the full impact of discovering who Aaron and Carson are and what their childhoods were like.

Pack destroyed. Father dead, mother dead, sister dead. Little Brayden is left alone. If it weren't for the teenage Alpha that finds him and takes him in. Story excerpt As I run past the man I feel his arms take hold of me pinning me to him as he picks me up. "Let go of me! My father will kill you!" I scream. I kick at him but he holds me tightly. "He's the Alpha!" The man kneels down and I feel my feet touch earth. He continues to hold me tight. Eventually he loosens his grip not enough to free me just enough that he can look me in the eye. "Your father is gone." The man tells me. "No!" I yell at him. I swing as hard as I can punching the man in the chest. "I don't believe you!" I didn't see Daddy but he is a strong wolf! An Alpha! No way he is dead! I feel the tears run down my face as I look around. Fire, rubble, and death... everyone is gone. I fall into the man sobbing. I can't fight any more. My pack is dead. The man picks me up again carrying me to his car. "What's your name little guy?" He asks. I have a hard time making words through my tears. "B... Bray... Brayden." I stammer gripping his shirt. "Hello Brayden... I'm Alpha Aaron... I'm gonna take care of you." He says. This is backstory for Brayden from my book Alpha Lilly. This story runs from before Alpha Lilly until part way through Orphan Wolf so spoilers are certain for those books. I'd suggest reading them first but you don't have to.
