The bard character will travel through worlds, meet people, learn skills to protect himself and collect interesting items, learn magic and maybe elemental magic or bardic magic or Harry Potter magic. You could have a system that gives you skills and visit DC, Marvel, Fairy Tales, HP and more.
It's not a fanfinc as such, but I've always had this idea of a protagonist who is a Bard and travels worlds telling stories/songs, I found one and it was good but I didn't like the ending.
