While its good to have the flashback and learn of what happened to Danny, it builds the world and makes it more living, this chapter was very repetitive. Two whole paragraphs describing all the monsters that were already covered in the previous chapter, makes this chapter feel dragged out and like filler. Obviously it’s also moving the battle and the story along.

Maybe he will also try to fuse soul traits in the future, to make them stronger versions of what they are. For example he has mind reading and the mind whip, so maybe he could fuse them into a stronger/more versatile soultrait that starts at a lower star rating than the two traits used in the fusion 🤔 But great novel author, keep the world building and story up, it’s refreshing and unpredictable enough that one keeps looking forward to the next chapters to come 🥳

Honestly William deserves to die to that worm, new MC will be Carter.

Wonder when William will touch an item that can give him a spiritual class, also would love to know more about how they are different from magic.

So now he needs more time to train as being able to use magic again after 5 years means he has to fundamentally change his style, at least until he can upgrade the classes and then start combining them 😅 unless that part of Gavin’s gifts was forgotten about completely and he’s not doing anything really to spread his name yet either.
