A young boy, Alex wakes up to find himself in a parallel world where people can manifest cards as superpowers. His dream quickly turns awry when he discovers not only his lack of talent, but the difference in the behavior of his friend and even his family. However he doesn't give up and decides to chart his own path to become the Master of Cards!
