Maybe the “big head” skeletons in the other world can be taught to raise skeletons instead, they’ve got enough intelligence to do it. As well as the “zombie king” skeletons and other smart high level skeletons

Yeah, when he stole corpses no one knew about it. I was saying though, that it wouldn’t be out of character for Wu Heng to steal the body (like he has in the past). He has swapped bodies out from the modern world into this one before so he could do it again if they (the association) wanted to keep the corpse or burn it. How many people really saw the necromancer up close? Even the two elves who did see the enemy up close could be gaslight into believing that they don’t really know what he looked like. One elf had more than a near death experience (she did die) and the other was blinded by rage, if pressured their memories aren’t the best. A stinky zombie corpse looks close enough to a “corpse ghost” corpse to pass as one, and most living creatures wouldn’t WANT to get too close to try telling the difference lol

Yeah, if I was Wu Heng I’d let the investigators know something “happened” to that body. Some weird curse on the body makes “wenshi” completely unable to be used, never seen it before. (They aren’t necromancers, how would they know?) I mean, he HAS stolen bodies from the association before (at the beginning). So…not out of character for this body to also just disappear 🤔

It means you don’t have to thank them, because it is their job. Similar to how a door greeter at a store might open the door for you, you don’t have to thank them because they are just doing their job. (Isn’t it part of being human to still thank them though?) No need to to thank me, it’s just my job to over explain things 😉🫡

Yeah, Wu Heng has. He’s still alive. The enemy necromancer made himself a “corpse ghost”, effectively killing himself. It was mentioned in the previous chapter that his body didn’t feel pain, but it was stiff (like a corpse). So even though he knew which direction bullets came from, he couldn’t move in time. I’m not seeing a good reason to make yourself a corpse ghost unless you were already close to death or in old age

😳 So many remnant ghosts could be made that Wu Heng would be a walking poltergeist
