Its hard to say who was stronger of the two. The current Silver beats his past self, Atonoine in many levels, from pure physical power to constitution, but if I were to say... Antonoine was stronger if he had the chance to use his abilities, otherwise, Silver would kill him... If he even can. Antonoine was practically immortal. Even if you cut his head, he'd be able to recover, Silver would have to destroy his brain completely in one strike, that is, if Antonoine doesn't transform his body to a point his brain isn't needed anymore. At the same time, Antonoine could just nuke Silver. I'd say Antonoine is like a Level 7+ adventurer with extreme versatility and powers. If he was alive, Antonoine might've been able to destroy half of the Dungeon with a single strike by exploding it all. Meanwhile, Silver is lacking. He will advance beyond him once he figures out why his Plasmids work and increase his Magic power, but until then, he's weak
I did not mention the three great quests, I only mentioned some of them. I could've added the black dragon but I couldn't think of a title for it so I gave up
'And… Antares, his title now lost to time.'

sealed monsters are very common in fiction
'Instead, they sealed it, and above it, a temple was erected to prevent its resurgence... While also researching ways to take it down for good.'

I guess I can see what you're complaining about, but at the same time not. There is a complex relation between the biological, but it doesn't mean its not mechanical. The way a mantis shrimp can punch like a bullet is entirely biological, but its founded in a complex mechanical systems. The same can be said for everything really. There isn't a difference, in my view, between those, while you don't seem to like it that I liken the brain to a machine. Its more of a terminology or something, I hope I explained myself somewhat. Can't say much about the size of the chapters and the "overexplaining", its a matter of taste solely. The same can be said for the conversations between characters. I think its fluid, but it takes a certain level of narration understanding to just go and understand things, but given most conversations go between 1-2 characters, and those that have more have characters with clear positions and mannerisms, I don't hand it over to the reader in a platter who's speaking all the time. Its not possible and I tried it before and people complained. I rewrote the Novel because I felt like it after improving my writing style a little and i feel comfortable with the way I'm now, that's all really
Yes, its considered that
That wouldn't change much unfortunately
'Just nine more levels before reaching the limit. After that, leveling up serves no purpose.'
