I undestand your point. but he went to the hospital at 4 am. everybodys shift started at 6 am and lets say they have 12 hour shifts this still would only make it max. 6 pm and not latenight. The problem confidently lecturin others while you yourself are "battling" with the same issues the character becomes hypocritical and thus disappointing. If he would have said openly to the other doctor that he himself still has moments of doubt he would have been honest and relatable. (Now he told a story from a distand past and gave the image of an person who has already overcome these worries.)
The story is good, but it repeat itself in multible instances which is truly annoying.
