Thank you very much for your review. They may not be common, but when I do get them, they mean the world to me and inspire me to keep on writing, so thank you very much!

Definitely an unreliable narrator. Information is limited and there are also, of course, the impacts of propaganda.

94 years ago, the Fire Nation was invaded by the Air Nation Army on a conquest to spread their cultish religion to all corners of the world, but the Fire Nation intervened hoping to spare the world from another civil war, but it was too late. The Air Nation had convinced the Water and Earth Nations to take up arms against their peaceful neighbor plunging the war in a nearly century long war. In a decisive victory, Fire Lord Sozin crushed the armies of the war-mongering Air Nation and took the first step to bring peace and prosperity to the world.

I sadly cannot see which paragraph you were commenting on, but one thing I try to employ a lot of is the unreliable narrator. Sometimes, it will be due to bias, and other times, due to lack of information, just like what you were saying. "The brainwashing and distortion of facts."

Frankly, I have to agree with you on many points. A lot of things from the first book will be relevant later in ways that would be spoilers to say, but notwithstanding, I already am rewriting this first book. It will still be the same setting and such, but I plan on making it a lot more interesting. To tell you the truth, I really appreciate this review. It feels the most honest and constructive. I have an AO3 account where I am currently working on a rewritten version since this is 5 year old work back from when I was a Highschool Freshman. Notwithstanding, I appreciate the honesty, but I still hope you stick around. It's good to have honest people reviewing my work.
