also fun fact in case anyone want to know; The grolar is the offspring of a male grizzly and a female polar bear. A pizzly comes from the mating of a male polar bear and a female grizzly. Usually, pizzlies only occur in captivity, while grolar bears do exist in the wild.

omg you right, it's cuz they are close enough in breed that the cross species isn't a problem but far enough away that it doesn't cause "insest" lvl of problems but it's also making a new breed that could end up replacing both of them. I honestly forgot until you mentioned it since it had a lot of genetic stuff I didn't quite understand when I watched in and I only looked up the basics

actually it's been a proven fact that they can and will meet and have even been cases of mating between making half-breeds (which has progressive gotten worse over the years[used to be super rare as a kid but apparently more common now] and I made sure to google it before posting), idk much about the half-breeds but I think they are like liegers (?) and infertile but they are definitely not supposed to have overlapping territory

it's not that they have gotten "sidetracked" persay but they don't have anymore hints of where they could be. their last hint (the farm in the woods I believe) basically sent them to the base, now the have a "safe" place to hunt for more hints, plus if I'm being honest I wouldn't be surprised if her "mission" somehow ties into finding his family, not sure how but it's usually how things go.
it's described as a small sword like dagger so I'm assuming that it's something similar to what a dual wielder would use but a little smaller, think something between a half sword (idk the technical term) and a dagger, so may maybe like half an arms worth in length or at least that's what I'm imagining
her daughter had kids of course, women are sold off so can only be in-laws
it might not be a space she can actively go to with her body, it may only be connected with her mind, and I think it's set up like the farming games in dress-up or whatever (don't really play them so don't have much info with terms/names)
If you think about it for a moment, It actually kind of makes sense. Because if she's placed under the grandmother's care, she will be deemed a daughter, which would make her at the same generation level as her kids, even though she's far too young to be at their level, on top of that, if she's placed into one of the children's families that have grand kids already, she would have to fight for resources with them and might even be seen as a b*stard since you know rich people drama, so it's safer and more socially acceptable to put her under somebody who a doesn't have kids and could actually act like her father. (I'm thinking both along the line of the curse and random drama)

also 4 year old eat a surprisingly large amount if allowed to and are technically at an age where they should be snacking all day instead of eating a couple full meals like us adults since they are in an almost constant growing/learning stage (just felt like I needed to add this)
