That has nothing to do with China being good tho, it has to do with capitalism, most western companies have their Mass produced products, be it clothes, furniture, trinkets and so on produced in China due to the cheap labor, and not to mention much lesser safety in regards to workers, letting you save tons of money in that regard too, not to mention that while child labor technically has become illegal, due to human rights groups, it's still quite common there, due to poverty, but doubt you'll hear that in many chinese novels, which might also be due to them not knowing the actual situation of their own country as their internet is over 90% censored, China is on par with North Korea when it comes to keeping the population ignorant.

I'm curious now that I've seen several novels claim China as being the safest country in the world, yet if you Google a ranking for the safest countries in the world, you'll find Iceland as the safest country in the world for 12 years in a row, while China isn't even in the top 10, and no im not from Iceland, my country is ranked 5th on the list of safest countries tho, so guess it has room for improvement, but in general I dislike nationalisme and blind faith in ones own country, afterall if you divider everything into "us" And "them" there will only continue to be war and suffering in the world.
