Haha, right? But don't all parents do stuff like this lol? Talking about their kid's futures before they're fully grown and trying to play matchmaker for future generations of their lineage. Haha
As the butler departed to set the plan into motion, Frederyc and Elisa shared a satisfied smile, their intervention tonight not only ensuring Lustria's swift recovery but also weaving the threads of a potential alliance that could strengthen the bonds between the Rohese, Alisone, and Vanthar families. The future bright with possibilities of grandbabies filling their thoughts with joy.

You need to add more characters with either updated images for Rae and or just add Cara. I wanna vote for her but can’t. 😭
Certainly. I just prefer Lightning and water for the storm theme I’m writing. ☺️
As he stood before the statue of Ribus, he felt a sense of pride well up within him. He was a son of fire, a descendant of warriors who had fought and triumphed in the name of their god. The flame that burned within him was a symbol of his heritage, a testament to the strength and resilience of his family line.

She previously only spoke with sign language. But then she’s suddenly fluent? That’s the confusing part of this that doesn’t make sense. Everyone else here commenting also thinks it’s weird and doesn’t make sense. Sure Deaf people can talk, but it’s jarring when she has so far in the two chapters we’ve known her to only use sign language and need Tessa and Lotus to translate for her. It’s jarring. THAT’S the complaint.

We learn more about Lassim and the universe and how the mortals of this universe are "tools/weapons" of the gods in the chapters that follow. How Lassim is unique in comparison to others, and their eventual plans for how they'll use him. I even reference this moment or rather the obtaining of the Heart of Elements and a delayed effect it has on him in a recent Chapter #290! Lassim is definitely special and I love your speculation.
This couldn't have just been the Heart of Elements alone. Something more was at play here, more powerful than just a simple reward, as if his body was free of some restrictions that bonded most spirit warriors.

You're absolutely right! It was very confusing and I have rewritten it entirely! Thank you for pointing this out! "The woodland surroundings provided him with a sense of familiarity and home-like comfort, like that of where he grew up, despite never having been here before."

Sorry the age thing is an issue for you. I'm pretty much stuck with it as I'm now 307 chapters into the story, and it's quite important to the overarching narrative idea I had when I implemented this specific story element. If it helps to mention, I've certainly aged the main character up to more typical protagonist age in recent chapters with a few time skips, but I think it's incredibly important (as I've mentioned in other comments and reviews from other readers), to know that the "humans" of this world are specifically tools made by the gods to be fodder in their war against the abyss. You can't think of them as typical Earthlings. These are tools used for war. It's the perspective of god's needing to raise weapons using the elements they have and they need a species that can rapidly mature to quickly fight against their mortal enemy. I think if you alter your perspective with this in mind, the story certainly becomes more tolerable as this is my intention for this universe's premise. This is an incredibly important aspect of the pantheon of god's callousness towards their creations and almost desperation to continue their survival against the encroaching threat of the Abyss. Please take that in to consideration, and thank you for at least giving my story a read! I hope you can enjoy it.
This chapter was SO GOOD. I really felt satisfied. I want to see more interactions like this. Can’t wait for the next one!
Oh they absolutely will know. But, I think it's important to know just how massive the world is and the fact that the world of Nexaria is mostly run by kingdom-states and only continental guardians that help protect each continent. There's not a real unified force other than on a continental basis. Sure, trade exists and there are communication discs for people to send text formatted messages between individuals, but there's not like some mass messaging system at this time. The world is fairly isolated in this nature due to their regions. So, yes the Veridian continent guardians almost instantly learned about Lassim's dual elemental nature and the nobles of Lassim's kingdom have too or soon will at this point in the story. Also, with the way things are going in the current chapters (328+), the world is going to soon have a much higher rate of exchange of information thanks to the main character's invention. Please continue reading if you're interested, but no harm if you don't! Thanks for giving my novel a shot and these early chapters were definitely not the best. My apologies in advance! Hope you enjoy regardless!
"So, the rumors were true," she murmured to herself, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "It seems we have a special new student in our midst."
