if u hit a writing wall i can give a bit of advice. First thing you need to do is fully extract yourself from your current environment. If you're able to take a trip/travel especially alone do it. Just discover shit. And if you can't, then do long walks every morning or evening by yourself. this works for me almost everytime. your brain need to relax for a bit not from rest but from well life itself.
if you reread the conversation Van Dijk had no issues with Ludwig using necromancy, he only had problems with Ludwig risking being caught using necromancy, remember Van Dijk already has two servants who are necromancers. It isn't the mean that Van Dijk has issue with it's the procedure and way you use your tools.
