Not really... I was held back a grade a couple of years ago becouse I punched my maths teacher, he was a fcking 4ssh0le that bordered the limit of blackmail with the female students. Long story short you can't beat the system and even with proufs and testimonies against him I got the short end of the stick but DAMN if it wasn't worth it! I would still do it again no matter what and I'm proud of what I did.
For students, being held back a grade was a source of great embarrassment.
