That novel had great potential, but the inclusion of Violet's mother in the MC's harem, especially given her yandere personality, was a significant drawback. The concept of a yandere's eternal love clashed with the portrayal of the mother, who quickly shifted her affections from her husband to the MC. That jarring inconsistency really ruined my overall enjoyment of an otherwise great novel 😭
