Previously mentioned was "after the darkness comes the great destruction." Then also recall puffles said something felt familiar but he wasn't sure....and he has never met the hanging tree....remember his people are in that dungeon sealing a gate to a world of corruption and darkness...i believe that is the darkness mentioned that was also corrupting the woods making it violent, ect. While the great destruction is seth's soul fire that was burning the woods and the darkness both away.

Fin, flying high up above the spectacle, covered her eyes with a beet-red face. But, following the old heroic rule which stated "Peeking is not looking", she still watched through the gap of her fingers.

also crafting is super fun and everyone benefits from it, and it increases chances for everyone to survive.
Working like this for the first time ignited a flame in his heart. He had still felt a little conflicted about getting a crafting class until now, but now Seth felt a passion growing within him. He really wanted to grow his class and skils, not just for survival.

Crafting/Gathering classes are not helpless like people think. Gatherer's need to know what to look out for, signs of predator's, ect as well as the geography of the area ect. Crafters usually need to know more than just the crafting....Blacksmiths need to know the basic uses and functions of weapons as well. That way they can understand more about the requirements of the weapon as well as making sure it works as intended. As for armor whether its a blacksmith or leatherworker they both need to understand the shape of the human body, how much it can handle, ect. They also need to understand how much the materials can take, and test them as well. Some test them on stands but the best way is to wear it and take a few hits even if its just from a normal person. Also don't forget the amount of strength it can take to even work the metals, and stretch the leathers ect. Alchemists make potions, poisons, bombs, ect so they aren't helpless. Chefs and or cooks often need to take apart the animals to get the meat they need. They also sometimes need to be aware of medical uses of herbs for those who might be sick. Chefs would be aware of the weak points of most things, the safe things to eat, the dangerous ones, the ones best for crafting and what its used to craft ect. Inscription/enchanting would need strength in another way to be able to spend hours grinding to make the inks, as well as the drawing to make the runes ect. Leatherworkers and tailors both would need nimble and strong fingers to be able to spend hours sewing. Depending on the materials all of them would most likely slowly develop a resistance to elements and dangerous things. They all would have a lot of stamina, as well as strong body over all to be able to spend the hours making the materials to craft and them crafting itself, because after all they would be doing it all by hand.

ok but his answer of survival is kinda similar to hers of murder....survival has a wide range of things it covers from killing, to gathering, to observing, ect
"The essence of combat is murder."

The dryad was telling them to run because she could tell/feel the darkness/corruption coming.... seth brought the great destruction which not only killed her not long after she was corrupted but also killed a huge amount of the corrupt woods.
