Mariela's POV
"How was your day?" My best friend asked when we met at the park where we usually have our run in the morning or afternoon every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
I felt guilty that this was the first time I showed up after months of being busy with my cafe, and now that I didn't have any idea how to save any of the branches; I felt so stressed that I needed to find time to relax and release all my frustrations with my ex-boyfriend.
"I am not fine, Valerie, and you know what is going on; I don't know how to keep my cafe afloat if ever I will try to risk transferring to a place where I know none of my loyal patrons will come and continue supporting my products, I have competitors all over the city, especially at the downtown and uptown area." I declared as we started walking around the oval.
"It would be a waste of time and money if I ever decide to rent a new place where I know my target market is at the city's heart," I added.
