Capítulo 73: Meeting Archer Again

"Ella, I am sorry if I forced you to come with me; even if you broke up with me, I hope that someday you will have a change of heart." Jerry declared after we left my shop's parking lot, and I could smell his manly scent, and I couldn't stop myself from thinking about Archer again.

"It is okay, Jerry, and I am sorry; I know you are a good man, and you are one of the wealthiest men in the country, but I know we won't work," I responded.

"How will you know that we will have a failed relationship if you will not give me a chance to show you how much I love you, Ella? Everything was good between us, and I wondered why you suddenly broke up with me without a valid reason." He replied as he looked at me sideways.

"I know I should never bring up this topic, but I couldn't stop loving you, Mariela." He said, and I could feel the pain in his voice.
