Capítulo 7: Let's Make Money
I sat beside Ibil and pat her shoulder.
"Don't cry. I know you're tired, but may you tell me what happen? I need to know, so I can help too."
Ibil wiped her tears and took a deep breathe.
"Someday Jaq became weird, starting to get cautious all the time. He looked... terrified of everything. Also he couldn't do any magic. We suspected that he got curse by my ex fiancé."(Ibil)
"So you... I mean, we, went bankrupt because of that?"
"Jaq runaway, the others were just like going mad. They brought all the money and went after him. It's been 4 months since then."(Ibil)
I didn't really care. But, I knew, I couldn't not care. How was I suppose to live alone in this strange world?
"So... what about the kids?"
Ibil sighed, "Dandeli Academy was Jaq and your old school. It's the best school in 4 kingdoms. We moved because here's only 1 day to Dandeli. Things happened and... so... we couldn't afford the cost."
"So... the main issue here is money? Then... let's make money!"
"We can make money? Awesome! I never see how money was made. If we could make many, we'll be rich!" Rooga went down the stairs excitedly with his little feet, made me jumping in fright. He ran right into my arms.
I knew he's 6 y.o boy, but the little body sometimes makes me forget.
"No, kid. I meant, we should find better way to make money. Selling fruits is not bad, but we need more than today's money. And you also need to school, right?"
"I can also go to school? Yay!" Rooga smiled happily. Oh, I'll be damned if I couldn't let him continue smiling like that.
That afternoon, I and Ibil discussed how we're gonna do it.
We have 1 human teenager, 2 half mermaid teenagers, 1 loli demon, and 1 half elf. I hardly could count myself, right then I was so useless.
"We have too little land. Instead selling fruits, how about selling juice? Later, when there's enough, we can try sell food too."
"Juice? What is it? How'd we make one?" Ibil asked in confuse.
"You don't know or there's no juice in this world? If it's the later, wow... I'm speechless."
"Is it food? Is it tasty? Mommy, I want juice too!" (Rooga)
