Daniel stared at Cole, before noticing that he was motioning for him to sit down.

Taking a chair, Daniel calmly said "What did you just tell your granddaughter?"

"I want to know what happened."

Sighing Daniel said, "At the hospital, it as confirmed that she has a severe sprain of her ankle, hence the crutches."

"I can see that. I am assuming that she went and saw her adoptive grandmother?"

Daniel nodded, before adding "She wanted to spend the time with her alone."

"And you let her? The two of them have some secret that I cannot figure out. I have been watching her grandmother, and other than Abigail, the only other visitor that she has had other than Abigail's adoptive parents and brothers who simply show up every couple of days demanding huge amounts of money from her is a Samantha Zhu."
