Calix carried Amelia in his arms before heading to work the next morning. He would head straight to Xu International instead of dropping by his private residence.

Evelyn was still sleeping while Old Madam Xu was leisurely watching her morning drama. Vernon, Lucille and Amelia saw Calix off to the door. The clock pointed to a quarter before eight.

"Hey, do you only see cakes and cookies when you look at me? No wonder your belly grows rounder ah," Calix pretended to scold his niece. He pinched Amelia's bouncy right cheek.

Amelia howled, "Nooo! Daddy and Mommy said Mia is cuter now!"

Calix smooched Amelia's chubby cheeks, earning giggles from the little turnip head. Vernon and Lucille watched them with a helpless smile.
