Instead of being repulsive, he actually welcomed them.

"It's getting late. We can talk later if there's anything... else," Leslie gently patted the back of Calix's right hand, her lips smiling, "You have an early flight tomorrow."

Sharing the same opinion as Leslie, Calix nodded, "Yeah, let's do that."

Leslie's smile softened at the sight of Calix's relieved countenance. He looked exceptionally better than before as if the rest of his lingering worries had faded completely.

Calix and Leslie left the balcony, returning to the warmth of the home office. Before heading out to the hallway, he stored the face sketches inside the drawer.

"You can take them out if you wanna see them again," said Calix while pushing the drawer back to its position.
