Letting out a long and heavy sigh, Leslie nuzzled into Calix's chest. She caught the pleasant sound of his chuckles while sensing him wrapping his arms around her frame.

Calix stared at Leslie who was half-lying in the backseat of the executive van. The seat belt extended far from the side because of her posture.

The vehicle had just left the close vicinity of the Thai restaurant. Logan was quietly driving in the front.

Earlier, Calix and Leslie clearly heard screams and cries coming from the private dining room when the door was opened again. Geoffrey's furious figure appeared, followed by an enraged Old Madam Li.

The entitled mother and daughter tried to force Calix and Leslie to get back inside but, Calix's bodyguards managed to stop them. Thankfully, the commotion didn't last long nor did it attract the patrons' attention.
