The next day, Mr. Nafario was cleaning off his desk when the door to the Old Plains slammed open. It was Blaze and Forest. Mr. Nafario said, "Oh? It's rare to-" Blaze slammed his paw on the desk and said, "What's with Kole? How is he learning everything so easily?"
Mr. Nafario's expression changed from being cheerful, to being worried. He said, "Do you promise not to tell Edward?" Blaze shouted, "Wait what-" But Forest covered Blaze's mouth and said, "What is it?"
Mr. Nafario sighed and said, "Kole has learned from you all before. He's the master of elements. The hero named Claudius." Blaze and Forest both gasped. "B-but... how is Kole... Claudius!?" "Bella took his memories and changed him into a child." Said Mr. Nafario.
Blaze grit his teeth and growled, "Bella... that curse..." Forest had both his paws on his mouth, crying. Blaze's flames turned light blue, and he said, "How could she do this... to a hero... I'm going to kill her!" Blaze ran out of the den to look for any signs of Bella.
Forest said, "Do you want me to get Kole?" Mr. Nafario said, "That won't be necessary. Right now we need to calm Blaze down." Forest nodded and ran out of the den with Mr. Nafario close behind.
A few minutes later, Kole entered the classroom saying, "Sorry! I-" Kole looked around to see no one in sight. Kole opened the door to the Old Plains and saw Edward waiting for him.
Edward said, "Hello Kole. Are you ready for today's lesson?" Kole nodded and said, "Where's Blaze and Forest? And Mr. Nafario?" Edward worriedly said, "Forest and Blaze left the room without saying anything."
Kole said, "So uh... where's Lark?" "Lark! Kole's here!" Edward shouted. Lark opened the water room's door and said, "Come in." Kole walked into the water room door and the unexpected happened.
"Blaze come back!" Forest shouted. Blaze was in the air, flying on a cloud of fire. He shouted, "Not until I find her!" Blaze squinted his eyes and said, "There she is..." Bella was in his sights. She turned around and shot a pink fireball at him. He dodged, but it hit the tip of his ear and the fire on that ear went out. Blaze's fire cloud dissapeared and he fell face flat on the ground.
"The flames on your ears are your weakness. Aren't they?" Blaze tried to get up, but he just fell back down. "Blaze!" Forest shouted. Bella looked there direction and said, "Mr. Nafario... hello old friend." Mr. Nafario stopped in his tracks and said, "Why did you hurt Blaze!?" Bella giggled a bit and said, "Puhu.... he had such a hostile look on his face. I couldn't help it~"
Blaze said, "You'll pay... for what you've done to Claudius... no.... what you've done to Kole!"
Bella's eyes widened. "H-how... how did you find out!? How did he even get fo the plains!?"
Mr. Nafario said, "I told them everything. And your "friend's" son came here with him. It was a miracle that we found him. Now we can change him back!" Bella's eyes turned dark red. Her fur turned pink once again, and she dissapeared.
Blaze desperately shouted, "N-no! We have to save him!" Forest grabbed Blaze and Mr. Nafario. With his powers, he made a catapult strong enough to fling them back to the city. "Hang on!" Then they were flung into the sky.
Kole was pinned onto the wall with water arrows. His front legs were bleeding, and Lark had a floating water bow at his side.
Lark said, "Your reflex skills are terrible. They all say you're Claudius. I think they're wrong." Kole said, "Ow... who's Claudius?" Lark fell on his side and started laughing. The arrows and bow dissapeared and he left the crippled Kole on the ground. "The greatest hero of all time... and yet you don't even know who he is... even the newborns know who he is! We have a LOT of work to do, don't we? Follow me-"
Lark looked at Kole and saw him healing himself with the water from the water arrows.
"Only I know that trick... no one else but..." Lark shook his head violently and shouted, "How do you know that! Only Claudius and I know how to heal ourselves with water!" Kole said, "Then... maybe I am Claudius."
Lark's eyes brimmed with anger.
He shouted, "Fine! Then learn how to use water yourself!" He stormed away to a nearby lake and sat near it. "This went off at a bad start..." Kole thought.
Kole's class session starts before the other cubs and kits' classes. So if the classroom is empty, he's in time.
