Jaylene stopped in her tracks, turned around slowly, and saw Frederick Richardson coming towards her in a wheelchair. Her guard was immediately raised.

"Minister Richardson, this is a public place," reminded Jaylene. "There are surveillance cameras in the hospital hall."

Frederick was almost choked with anger at Jaylene's words, and couldn't help shouting, "Jaylene, what do you mean by that?"

"Nothing," Jaylene shrugged. "I just wanted to tell you not to fall or anything. We don't want to be accused of something inexplicable again."

Frederick's face immediately darkened, and he asked in a low voice, "Do you really think I'm such a person in your mind?"

"What do you think?" Jaylene felt Frederick's words were amusing. "What, am I supposed to think you're such a noble person in my heart?"

Frederick sighed heavily, then asked, "By the way, I heard you got into trouble at Aurora and Allen Spencer's engagement ceremony. How are you recovering now?"
