Within a hollow section of the energy pillar, Lyxor snatched his real body back. It was a 9-foot-tall purple-skinned alien with two massive tendrils for hair.
Lyxor extended both arms, his hands trembling slightly. He closed his eyes, muttering an incantation in an ancient tongue. The shadows around him flared violently, forming a cocoon of pulsating energy.
{This won't take long.} Lyxor assured Lucius.
"It doesn't matter how long it takes, not even God will reach you," Lucius said calmly, holding onto Lia's corpse tightly.
In response to his words, the Human Emperor blocked Lyxor and Lucius's figure with his body, clenching tightly to the hilt of his sheathed sword.
While they didn't expect anyone to be bold enough to invade the energy pillar, it wouldn't hurt to take precautions.
