"you think I don't know that we're not normal, huh? Do you think that is supposed to make losing you easier? You think that's supposed to comfort me when my mate keeps getting herself in trouble?" Angelo barked at Hera, once again slamming things. 

He had now started throwing books at the wall; well, at least none of them was aimed at Hera because that would be very devastating. He was hurt, and his mate was looking at him like he was losing his mind. Well, he was losing it, but because he wanted to find ways to protect his angel without hurting her. 

He wanted her safe, protected and wanted her to trust him. He loved her, for fucks sake. It had never been about the mate bond alone. Even when they were just the good thief and Satan in the human world, Angelo loved her.
