Ota red armor itself is made from sturdy materials but the fact that Yurmuk could cut a chip of this red armor shows that Yurmuk reputation of possessing great strength in battle is not false at all.
"he is chipping my armor one at a time" Ota could guess what Yurmuk is trying to do.
He is trying to create a point of pressure all over his armor so that when the time comes, on strike would break his armour.
But even in this kind of situation, Ota is calm. Even though he laughs , this is an appearance he shows to his soldiers so that they would feel that even under threat, their leader is as fearless as ever.
Ota is not only an accomplished warrior; he is also a great commander. As he leaned back, he moves his hand.
