But the cruellest thing is when you have a blossoming hope and this hope is crushed.
Ashana Angah is old.
And because he is old, certain things in the world…..he is numb to it.
Hope is kind of a childish and naïve feeling and old people have little of it.
It is because it is dangerous. Hope itself is cruel.
It is kind of faith. It could give you strength. But when this faith is crushed the pain goes deep. It is sometimes more devastating than a real injury.
People like Ashana Angah had seen so many people he have faith in to betray him later. And it is this killing of faith that makes hope a terrifying thing
So, he needs to make sure. Make it one hundred percent sure. That this hope could lead to tangible result.
" Not to mention this would concern my life" he mutters.
