Capítulo 187: She Was An Idiot

Once Ethan finished his rant, he was quick to add, "I'm being good though! I want to be able to come to you guys for Christmas."

Amara tilted her head. "You are going to Claire's house for Christmas? I am going to Jessica's mother's house for Christmas. I met her once. She gave me cookies."

Claire was relieved that she already had Christmas plans and didn't seem to be jealous. Her budget wouldn't be able to handle having an extra person over. As it was, she already wasn't sure how she was going to afford everything…or even what to get kids who had no experience with having fun. 

"Yeah. She gave me some white chocolate pretzels too. I helped make them," Ethan said proudly. 

"I want white chocolate pretzels too," Amara replied with a frown. "Can I have some?"

"Don't worry; I'm going to bring a whole plate of treats to your house later this month, including the pretzels," Claire promised. "Has Jessica made any treats for the holidays yet?"
