I release a sigh when I am alone in my room. I look at the room's ceiling and think about my next action. We are approaching the end game, and I need to prepare to make sure no named character dies in battle and maybe complete the 108 Star of Destiny.
However, there is something that is very important. Even more important than the Star of Destiny.
"Chiyome"
After I say her name, Chiyome kneels next to my bed. I smile at her and say.
"You can get up, dear. Have you eaten something? Do you want me to cook you something?"
"I did not need to eat–"
However, before she could finish her sentences, her stomach answered me. I chuckle a little and watch her face get red from embarrassment. I shake my head, open the portal to my pocket dimension, and take her to my pocket home.
We walked to the kitchen, and I took the ingredients to cook something. I look at the ingredients inside the fridge and decide to cook some fried rice. It is fast and delicious. I crack some eggs, chop some vegetables, and heat the wok.
After a few minutes, I placed two plates on the table, and we started eating our food. I chuckle a little when I see her moan every time she takes a spoonful of the fried rice inside her mouth.
She might say that she did not mind not eating, but since the day she ate my cooking (enchanted with the power of Faerie Feast), she started to look forward every time I said I would be the one cooking the food.
While eating, I look at her and say,
"Chiyome, I have a mission for you."
She wipes her mouth and kneels next to me.
"Tell me the mission, Lord Master."
I can only sigh and say.
"You did not need to kneel, Chiyome. Anyway, it is an easier mission. Take my phone and stamp. I need you to stamp anyone in the target list."
"How about the one in this place?"
"They are as well. However, make sure to do it sneakily. If you think they will notice you, you can postpone the capture."
"Of course, Lord Master. I shall complete your order."
I can only sigh and pick her up. She looks at me in confusion as I put her back in her seat.
"You can complete the mission later. For now, eat. We are not in a rush, Chiyome. Enjoy yourself. You deserve it. Speaking of enjoying yourself, I order you to spend your time outside the shadow every now and then. We can even visit the theater in the basement."
She looks at me and nods her head. I pat her head and return to my seat. The two of us enjoy our lone time in this pocket dimension. Chiyome has done a lot for me, and she deserves this much and more.
=/The Next Morning/=
With Chiyome taking care of the point gathering, I prepare to set sail and do my duty as a merchant. My first target? Sable and Doraat. With our victory in Doraat, they need a lot of building materials to recover from the previous battle.
The fire that Chiyome and the others did to the city's Northern side destroyed several buildings.
Because of this, they need the material to build them. The solution? Sable Town. It is the biggest stone mine in the entire country. You might think that stone is something that is easy to get, and it is true to some extent, but the stone has quality, and Sable Town has the best quality stone in the entire country.
I can buy some of the stones from Sable and sell them to Doraat Fortress for a lower price than usual.
"Are we going to depart now?"
I snap from my thoughts and turn around. I can see Sialeeds is ready to go.
"You know… I thought you were kidding when you said you would wake up early."
"What? I can wake up early, you know? Even though I hate mornings, I am mature enough to wake up early when I want to."
"Sure~"
"I am being serious!"
I chuckle at her expression but pat her head to calm her down.
"Sorry. Sorry. I am only joking."
"Hmph!"
I can only shake my head, and the two of us walk to the dock, where I can see the usual sailor already waiting for us. He is the man who takes me around the country if I am on my merchant mission.
Other than him, Nikea is also waiting for us. Two months ago, I decided to take fewer companions in my trading business. Too many people will attract attention, and I did not need that kind of attention when I was in the enemy's territory.
"Good morning, Boss!"
I smile at Nikea.
"Good morning, Your Highness!"
Sialeeds sighs and shakes her head.
"Please call me Sialeeds. I think we are close enough to call each other on a first-name basis."
"Then call me Nikea!"
"I already call you that."
"Oh yeah! Hehehehe~"
I shake my head at their behavior, but at the same time, I have a smile on my face. The two of them have been close since the night they decided to visit my room with that set of lingerie. I look at the sailor and say.
"Thank you for taking us across the country like usual, my friend."
"Think nothing of it, Gerrald. It is my job, after all. It also helps that you pay me above the average fee."
Of course, money can make things go smoothly. In this case, any sailor under me is willing to take me anywhere because I pay an above-average fee, and I pay truthfully instead of making excuses to cut the fee like many customers.
"So! Where will we go now?"
"Sable. So, we will stop at Lordlake, and we will take the ground route from there."
"Gocha."

|3rd POV|
Everything went to shit for the Godwin Family. Gizel looks at his father, Marscal Godwin, who is looking at the moonlight with a frown on his face. Gizel knows the reason why his father likes this.
All of their plans are destroyed one by one. At first, they wanted to reduce the morale of their enemies by stopping all the supplies from their scattered factions, but it did not work. Someone supplied them with a huge amount of supplies. From weapons to food, this person managed to support the Loyalist Army alone.
The second thing is to make the Lunas Town surrender on their own and admit their government is the correct one. They cannot attack them using force, so they need to starve them and let them come to them instead. Sadly, the same person feeding the Loyalist Army decided to help the people of Lunas and feed them with the food they needed. What makes matters worse, it will last them for at least two years.
They decide to investigate who this person is and find out his identity. Sadly, this man has something that comes from their worst nightmare. This man can store a huge amount of goods somewhere and take them out with ease using magic.
What makes matters worse is that they cannot predict his movement. This man moves as if a drunken man is coming out of a tavern. He moves without a path, and they cannot make a prediction to ambush him.
They know that this man moves according to a rumor, but each time they try to create a false rumor, he somehow knows about it and will never bite the bait. They did not know that their rumor would not give Gerrald a profit, so his perk was not activated.
They also cannot put any spy in the Ceras Lake Castle for some reason. Each time they put a spy from Neither Gate, they will lose contact with that spy immediately. Because of this, Marscal decided to hold back sending more spies there after the 13th death of their spies.
Never in their life has the Godwin Family encountered an information blackhole, but here they are. Any information regarding the Ceras Lake Castle and the area around it is something they did not have.
"Father"
Gizel decides to snap his father from his thoughts. Marscal looks at his son and says,
"Sit."
Gizel nods his head and says.
"What is our next plan, father?"
"Plan? There is none. With Dolph unsuccessful in bringing back Alenia and failing to convince Sialeeds, we did not have any plan."
"Give him another chance. I have a feeling Dolph can convince Sialeeds and is good enough to sneak into Ceras Lake Castle."
Marscal slams his scepter on the table.
"GIZEL!"
He roars in anger, making Gizel flinch in fear for the first time in a long time.
"Get your mind out of your penis, son. In the first place, you never loved her. You think of her as your collection, and you do not want to admit that you lost her. Leave her. She did not want you, and you should think of it that way. I don't want to lose one of our greatest assets to a mission that might not be successful."
Gizel grits his teeth but nods his head in understanding.
"Good. The Queen has enough of our losses and decides to lead the entire army to attack our enemy."
"What? We cannot do that! That will cause us too much damage!"
"And what can we do? The world already knows that we cannot lead a war, and if we reject the direct order from the queen, we will have a civil war among our faction."
"DAMMIT!"
Gizel screams in frustration at their current situation. Marscal only sighs and does not scold his son because he is frustrated as well.
"We will do a frontal attack. We will leave some of our troops behind to defend against the reinforcement from Estrise City while the main army is attacking the enemy's headquarters. We need a solid win to boost morale."
Gizel nods his head and says.
"Who will be the one leading the main army?"
Marscal thought for a few seconds before saying,
"Childerich will be the one leading the march, and tell him to go all out."
"Are you sure, father? We will increase the bad reputation we have."
"Hmph. We are already at rock bottom. One or two massacres will not put us any lower. Let him massacre a few villages on the way to their headquarters."
