[Two hours before her call with Agent Selene…]

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

"Ughhh…"

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

"Urgmmh…"

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

"Waaaaaaaaa!!! I can't sleep!" I yelled to myself and furiously got up from bed.

The clock was so noisy, the water dripping from the faucet in my bathroom was also annoying, and even the sound of the air conditioning in my room kept me awake for some reason.

It was like the many other times I couldn't sleep at night.

And it all started ever since "that" night when random men tried to assault me.

I know it had been a while, and I should be okay already—I should have yes, and I was okay… It's just that… I couldn't sleep, and I don't know why.

"Haaah…" I sighed heavily as I glanced at the clock on my bedroom's wall pointing to three in the morning.
