"What did you do?" Ericson asked King Cimerius who looked at the girl with an equally flabbergasted expression.

He didn't know what happened either. This wasn't the first time he made someone remember something they might have forgotten, but this was definitely the first time someone fainted like this.

"What do you think I did? I obviously just let her look into her memories. What else would I do here when we all know Zephyr would get to us and make our lives hell if he came to know we hurt her? Haven't you seen him these days? The man is literally obsessed with her," King Cimerius said. 

Ericson looked at the man before humming, shifting his gaze to the unconscious Delilah. He knew the King was telling the truth. But he wanted to take his frustration out on him either way. 

If he hadn't interrupted him, then he would've been able to get the blood he wanted.
