Maximus walked out of the cottage and just like he had guessed, he saw Delilah limping towards the back door of the royal Kingdom.

An exasperated sigh left his mouth and he was about to go and pick her in his arms because of how she was limping, but seeing how she changed her mind and didn't enter the palace, he just stood at some distance, watching her.

Katherine, on the other hand, who was feeling much better, looked at the hidden palace. By the time she realized that she was healing so quickly because Maximus gave her his blood, he was long gone.

It was only fair for her to express her gratitude to him.

She looked at the forest and started walking towards it.
