"Prince Zephyr," Delilah whispered to the man who looked at her, a little confused, all her anxiousness immediately calming with her mate's touch. 

"What's going on? Why were you –" He started speaking but was interrupted when she hugged him. 

He stumbled back a little at the sudden force she exerted before taking a deep breath. 

Something was wrong; he could feel her and turned to look at Roy and others before dismissing them. 

After receiving reports about vampires attacking in groups at different locations at the same time, Zephyr wanted to check the forests leading to the University personally to see how safe this place was and what the chances of a vampire attack were. 

He had heard from Cassie that Miss Delilah appeared here almost daily and knew it was necessary. 

He had arrived right after talking to the council members so he could take her back with him once the inspection was over.
