Capítulo 14: All In The Mansion (Chapter 14)
Everyone in the Mansion alert at the seal made by Joe; Zen quickly laid Ken on the bed and asked Joe to take the neutralize portion. Nic & Sam stand by the side to look at Ken.
Nic cries as Sam comforts him.
Zen uses his power and portion to neutralize the poison.
Zen says, “I have to rest and warn everyone in the Mansion not to go out or else they will turn into ashes.”
Zen advises Sam and Nic to stay in the Mansion and not to go out; he asks Joe to provide them guest rooms.
Nic says, “I will stay with Ken.”
Sam says, “Let me stay here too.”
Zen says, “It’s up to you, I need to rest.”
Zen says to Joe, “Please show them their rooms before going to sleep. Zen orders the maidservants to make sure Ken is well attended during this time and to cook for 5 pax breakfast. Zen also tells all his maidservants not to come into his room, unless he comes out of the room.”
After he said that, he went off to his room to rest.
Ken isn't awake yet.
Nic looking at Ken
Sam tells “Nic that he should sleep & rest, in morning he will see Ken awake.”
Nic agrees, he gets up, and Sam walks with him to his room.
Nic says “thanks to Sam.”
Sam says to Nic, “You're welcome” and he advise Nic to rest and not to think too much.
Sam's room is beside Nic's room. Sam tells “Nic if he wants anything just knock on his room door.” (Huh? We think whose Mansion this is now is Zen correct, why does Sam treat it as his own house? Sam is a concern for Nic, remember he loves Nic.)
Nic says, “Okay.”
Zen is seriously out of shape as he just recovered from sleep deprivation and now, he needs to rest.
Sam is very worried about Nic in his room.
Nic, on the other hand, is worrying for Ken.
Everyone in the room has different worries.
Ken wakes up after an hour and sees that he is not in his room, he gets up. He opens the room door walkout, along the walkway, and then he realizes that he is not in his house, its Zen’s Mansion. (Oh no! Ken doesn't go out of the house or else you will turn into ashes!) Ken doesn't know that Nic is next to his room.
Nic didn't sleep; when he heard a sound of door-opening, he gets up from bed, opens his room door sees a shadow on the wall that is walking towards the stairs. Nic didn't see Ken and thought maybe it's Sam; thus he didn't bother to go down because they knew that they can't go out of the Mansion.
Ken didn't know that the Mansion was sealed and it is prohibited to go out of the place. Ken was hungry; he went to the kitchen, but the maidservant wasn't there. (Oh! where did the maidservant go?) Ken goes to the fridge and opens it up; he sees eggs, bell peppers, and tomato sauce. He opens up the shelves and finds Pasta. He turns on the stove, boils water and puts the pasta in the pot. He takes the pan and fries the eggs and bell peppers together with tomato sauce.
It's weird nobody in the Mansion knows Ken is awake.
Ken finished cooking; he placed the cooked food on the plate, and ate the food. Ken thinks that the Mansion is so huge; on the other hand, no one knows he is in the kitchen.
When Ken finished eating, he washes the pot and plate. He draws the curtains and says, “Wow! The night is beautiful.” (Oh no, please don't go out! ~ Audience shouts!)
Nic couldn't sleep and he got up to go to Ken's room, but when he was in Ken's room he didn't see his brother there. Nic quickly goes to Sam's room knocks on the door loudly.
“Sam, my brother isn't in the room, did you see him?”
They panic.
Nic and Sam quickly ran down the stairs to look for Ken. Nic shouts, “Ken don’t open the door.” Nic quickly grabs Ken's hand.
Ken gets a shock and turns around, as he sees Nic, says, “Huh! Why?”
Nic grab Ken further away from the door and tells him that Zen saves him and Joe has sealed the whole Mansion and whoever goes out of the Mansion, will turn into ashes.
Ken asks, “Who is this behind you?”
Ken doesn't know Sam either.
Nic says, “Oh! This is Sam, the eye witness; he is the one who saved you.”
Ken says “thank you to Sam, as Ken woke up from the poison, he seemed a bit slow.” (Ken didn't know the whole story; later in this chapter, he got a shock when he knew, he got kidnapped and his brother got tied up.)
Sam says, “You're welcome, I happen to pass by your house or else I also couldn't have helped you.”
Joe was awakened by the commotion. He goes to the living hall and sees the 3 of them making a lot of noise and he tells them to keep quiet down as Zen seriously needs to rest.
Ken suddenly looks worried about how Zen is?
Joe says, “As long as Zen rest, he should be alright.” Joe also mentions the seal on the Mansion won't be lifted until Zen recovers.
Suddenly Ken, Nic, and Sam look worried as they won't be returning to their home and school because they are stuck in the Mansion.
Nic sighs, “How? I have a school event this week and the sportswear; I bought supposed to wear for the event.”
Sam says, “I am supposed to study for the test this week.”
Sam asks Joe does he have a computer or laptop so he can access the school website for revision.
Joe says, “Yes, I will get it for you later in the morning as for now, we all should be sleep. Let's go back to our rooms and sleep.”
They walk back to their rooms.
Zen in his room does self-healing and falls asleep.
Joe didn't inform Zen about the 3 of them in the living hall. Joe just went to sleep.
Everyone is tired.
The next morning, maidservants prepared 5 pax for breakfast.
Nic wakes up first, then Sam and Ken.
Joe has prepared the laptops for all 3 Ken, Nic, and Sam for their revision, study, and gaming. As Joe knows, it will take some time for Zen to recover.
Joe has informed the school that Ken, Nic attends at they have to stay indoors for the time being. Joe didn't know Sam's school; thus he asks him for his school so that he can inform the school. (To Joe's surprise Sam studies in the same school as Nic. Joe was unable to search for Sam's information as it wasn't even available.)
They say “thanks” to Joe.
Zen didn't wake up for breakfast. This means he is still sleeping.
Joe, Ken, Nic, and Sam ate breakfast, and then Joe says “he had some work to do and went to his room.”
Ken takes the laptop, and walks towards his room.
Nic and Sam left in the living hall.
Sam says to Nic, “Let's study together here; it's not good to be in the room for a long time.”
They studied for 3 hours and lunch was up.
Ken in his room, he wasn't able to study for more than an hour. He switches to gaming.
After that, he starts to go online to search for something else.
Ken suddenly hears someone knock on the door; the maidservant asks him to come down for lunch. Ken walks down and he sees Nic and Sam were at the table eating lunch. Ken asks, “Where's Zen and Joe?”
Nic and Sam say that they never see them at all. But Joe told them that he has a lot of papers to work on. As for Zen, he is sleeping.
Ken is worried since morning Zen didn't eat anything, and doesn’t know which Zen’s room is.
The maidservants didn't want to talk much to Ken, Nic, and Sam.
Since Joe wasn't around Ken so couldn't ask anyone. Nic and Sam wouldn't know where Zen is.
Ken asks Sam which school he studies, and realizes he studies in the same school as Nic. Ken smiles and tells Nic that since both of you are in the same school, you should be friends and asks Sam to take care of Nic on his behalf. (Woah! Sam so fast wins his brother-in-law.)
Sam says, “I will and I am glad that I saved you last night.”
Nic says, “Yes, if you weren't passing by my house, I could have still been tied up and eyes blindfolded.”
Ken says, “Huh! You were tied up and eyes blindfolded? What happened? I thought we were drinking and I got drunk in the restaurant?”
Nic says, “That's the earlier part, after that, I put you on the sofa and suddenly someone knocks on the door; I opened the door but no one was there and suddenly a hand pushed me down on the ground and I got blindfolded and tie up but I didn't see who took you away, it's Sam, he came to rescue me and he recognized the guy that took you away.”
Ken immediately says, “Thank you Sam, I didn't know you helped me and Nic. How can I repay you?”
Sam says, “Let me come to your house every day.”
Ken says, “Huh! You want to come to my house every day. But there isn't any breakfast in the morning in our house because Zen always picks me up for breakfast and sends me to school. I am also concerned for Nic, he is always alone; if you could accompany him it would be good but this is not a way of repaying you. Since I don't know, how to repay you let's put it on hold whenever you need my help tell me I will help you if it is within my means.”
Ken asks Nic, “What about you?”
Nic says, “Hmm, I don't know too, why not put it on hold too,” and Nic turns to Sam tells him if you need anything within his means he will help him in return.
Sam smiles and says, “Sure, if I need help in the future, you must not disagree.”
Nic wonders, “What it is?”
Ken didn't say anything about it. It's a long talk and they still haven't finished their lunch yet.
Ken says, “Let's finish and we will study together here. It's a bit boring in the room alone.”
Nic says, “Brother, you are always alone; it's good that Zen came into your life.”
Ken turns to Nic, “You also have Sam now, and I won't be worrying about you.”
Sam smiles...
