Capítulo 68: Chp 68: Milk

Lucas POV:

Evan was always so peaceful when he slept. His calm breathing. His steady heartbeat. Everything he did I loved about him. I couldn't really tell you what I didn't love about him. He was perfect in my eyes.

But what I saw yesterday was something I barely ever get to see. Evan was clearly upset about something, so bad to the point he displayed his emotions to me without uttering a single word.

My heart tore to see that sad smile. His face should never ever have to do that ever again. I don't know if I could take it.

I was so distracted in my thoughts that I completely forgot of the bulging rock hard abs displayed right in front of me. It wasn't until Evan adjusted himself closer to me did I get reminded of my current situation.

His arms wrapped further around me, bringing me much too close to his chest. I was so close my cheek was only millimeters away.

"Good morning my kitty."

His voice was husky with some croakyness to it.

"Yeahhh...morning." I mumbled, still focused on the closeness of his body to mine.

He chuckled at me. Probably because he realized what I was doing.

"You can touch it you know. I'm all yours!"

"W-what! no no no no no no." My eyes danced around the room, avoiding all direct eye contact.

He chuckled again and embraced me further. My cheeks were smooshed against him now.

"Evan!" I wriggled out if his grasp, making a b-line to the door. Only to have my hand clasped and be tugged backwards. "Uwah!"

I landed straight back on the bed, only this time on top of Evan. On top of his bare, naked chest.

I whined his name again. He left wet kisses all over me. The kisses swiftly turned into tickles and in a matter of seconds I was flailing all over the place. Gasping for air the moment I was released, like I had been drowning.

I gave him a quick jab in the arm with my fist before running off again to the kitchen.

I heard him groan in the bedroom and chuckled to myself. That's what he deserved.

I grabbed some cereal out of the cupboard and poured it into a bowl. I searched through the blood packed fridge for some milk, only to find nothing. Nothing but blood and more blood.

'Sometimes I wish he wasn't apart of the living dead. Like I know hes a vampire but damn. Who needs this much blood? And he has me. Why does he even bother with this cooled stuff when he has fresh warm blooded me?'

Anyway, I grabbed my wallet, keys and phone and called out to Evan as I left to go to the supermarket around the corner.

It was quite the pleasant walk. Hardly anyone was out except the birds. I arrived quickly and purchased some milk.

I had just turned the corner when I heard some familiar voices nearby. It sounded like an argument, so I peaked into the alley where they were fighting.

And sure enough Layla and Ren were there. But the atmosphere was grim. I felt like I had just walked in on something really bad and they were about to rip each others heads off or something.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier!" Ren hissed.

Layla's face scrunched up and her mouth hung open. "Are you kidding me? How could I?"

The air grew thicker and the light darkened.
