Capítulo 1: PROLOGUE
She sat on the comfortable couch on the balcony with gray silk curtains hanging and flowing with the breeze. It was peaceful, all she had wished for, a feeling that none can describe. She held her baby close to her chest, a small smile appeared on her face as she looked at the bundle of joy cuddling her, holding her finger, and he opened his bluish-gray eyes which he inherited from his father and mother.
The 2-month-old was not aware of his surroundings but that he was safe. Excited to see his mother, he let out a small squeal and the young woman chuckled and could see his reaction, pulling him as close as she could, enclosing them with her soft white cardigan. It was pure bliss, her son lulled to sleep listening to his mother's heartbeat.
And then she felt someone cover her shoulders with a warm blanket, a warm pair of hands wrapped around her waist pulling her close, causing goosebumps to erupt on her skin and a red hue spreading on her neck and ears. Noticing this, the person let out a husky chuckle and spoke in his usual deep voice "Years and you still aren't used to my touch". Deciding not to reply, she leaned her head back on her husband's shoulder, who kissed his son's head and pecked his wife.
If years ago someone told her she would be married to him, she would have laughed it off. But now things were different, she knew no matter what, he would always be with her and would do anything for her. Because he was her Valente.
