Capítulo 179: Empty Bed

Delilah woke up to the shriek of her alarm. The usual sign that a new week had arrived since her alarms were always off during the weekends.

She stretched lazily, turning to the side where Hunter usually lay, expecting to see his familiar form. Her hand brushed the cool, empty sheets, and she froze for a moment, blinking. The bed was empty, completely untouched.

He wasn't there.

She sat up slowly, a slight frown forming on her face. Had he not come home last night?

She had gone to bed after waiting for him to return for a while and he didn't show up.

Perhaps he had returned late and had chosen to spend the night in his room so he wouldn't disturb her?

It wasn't unusual for them to have their own spaces, but ever since they started being intimate she had sort of gotten used to having him on her bed.
