"I appreciate your offer but I can't take it. I don't want to go to a stranger's place," Luna explained with a smile.
In front of her, Jeanne also smiled. But, one corner of her lips twitched slightly. Yes, she assumed she would get a rejection but she never assumed that the girl would reject her offer frankly.
"Now, it's enough about me." Luna turned to Ilia. "You have a date so of you go. And also, the two of you stopped the queue."
Truth to her words, three people already stand behind Ilia and Jeanne. Seeing this, Ilia gives his words to Luna quickly, "call me or Jeanne when you are in a need of help."
"Yes, yes," Luna said with an understanding nod. "Have fun," she continued when she saw Ilia and Jeanne walk away.
Ilia waves his hand to give a reply to Luna. Dozens of seconds later, he and Jeanne standing in the middle of the Game Center.
"You seems to care for her so much," Jeanne said in irritation.
To her words, Ilia made a wry smile. "Yes, I care for her so much."
That statement made Jeanne's cheeks grow red. She turn around, intended to shout, you should only care for me! To Ilia but, the boy who raises his hand stops her to let out her phrases of anger.
Instead, she said, "well… your explanation?"
"As I said, I consider her as my sister. She is a hard worker, a girl who tries to solve her problem alone, and tends to not want help from other people."
"If that so, just let her be!"
"I can't," Ilia said. This makes Jeanne's eyebrows bend deeper. The girl wants to say something but the boy stops her again. "I can't abandon her or cut a contact with her."
"Didn't you say you will hear my opinions?"
"Yes, I did. But, cutting a part of my family on a whim was a big no."
"She says, she wasn't your sister. And do you realize that she has a romantic interest in you?"
"Yes I'm aware of her feelings and I will continue to think of her as my sister. And I hope you will also think of her as your sister."
Jeanne bit her lips. She didn't expect that Ilia was so adamant about his thoughts to treat Luna as his sister. He even asks her to treat that girl as her sister. This made her furious.
*As I thought, the girl must perish!* Jeanne thought. Her determination become stronger.
Then, to build a plan for her mission, she asked Ilia, "what will happen to you if she ignores you or disappears without news?"
Depending on his answer, her plan can be the reckless one of the careful one. However, she never imagined that she will hear an unexpected answer from him.
"To answer that question, I will ask you, what will happen to you if I ignore you or disappear without news?"
Hearing that question, Jeanne froze.
As for Ilia, he was making a bet with that question.
Today was their first day as a lover. This might be too fast, too, too fast but Ilia wants to know how big Jeanne's love for him is.
Hit bet was, did he will get a big one or a little one.
Luckily for Ilia, this girl who survives from her breakdown and is still at the border of madness was love him so much. His punching bag role for her on the lunch break had earned him max affection points from the girl.
Jeanne will never let go of Ilia.
For her, he was a light in the darkness.
So… what will happen to Jeanne if Ilia ignore her or disappear without news?
The answer is simple.
If being ignored, Jeanne will come to Ilia to ask for his attention. She will never stop, she will never give up, she will keep coming back to Ilia over and over again until she gets what she wants!
Then, when her endeavor didn't yield anything, she would kidnap Ilia and lock him up in a cage. She will put his cage in her room just to be with him every day.
In a case where Ilia disappear without news, Jeanne will use everything she has to hunt him! She will not waste any effort and do her best! When finally she found him, she will lock him up in a cage. She will not let him go away again forever!
Knowing what will she do if Ilia ignore her or disappear without news, she learned that Ilia probably will do the same thing if that Luna girl gets into those circumstances.
That was not good news for Jeanne.
If she kills Luna, Ilia will do anything to find the culprit. And when he found out that she was the killer…
Jeanne is too scared to think about the possibilities that will happen. So, she decided to rethink what she would do to Luna.
"You have to explain her circumstances to me in detail if you want me to treat her as my sister," she demanded. At the same time, she jabs Ilia's chest with her index finger.
Ilia beamed happily at her answer. With her consideration, he knows that the girl has enough love for him. "I will ask her permission first."
Jeanne let out a sigh. Seconds later, she massage her forehead, "make it quick. Now, let's forget that Luna girl for a moment, and let's start our date. Delaying this date any longer will only make my mood worsen."
Seeing Jeanne in that condition, Ilia can't say anything but, "I'm sorry."
Jeanne waved her hand dismissively then began to walk. Ilia followed her quickly, trying to not be left behind. The girl guides the boy to the sports corner.
"What kind of arcade games do you want to try first?"
"Photo box was an awful idea with this kind of mood so Punching Games! I want to blow my steam up by playing Punching Games!"
Unconsciously, Ilia touch his cheek after hearing her words. And together with it, he confirmed that his new girlfriend was a violent type.
*I think, I need to train my body to be able to hold her violence,* Ilia thought. And never did he expect, this decision is one of the wise decisions he has ever made.
