Capítulo 364: 364 The declaration

[Rex's POV: ]

In the grand personal chambers of the emperor where half of the most heinous crimes of the empire take place, I sat facing the absolute— the monster that once loved my mother. 

"So, you joined hands with those people?"

"That seems to be the case my lord."

This whole thing of calling him the lord was not something necessary anymore but there was also no other comfortable way to address him.

He was a bastard that I hated alredy and now that he knew that I was acquainted with a force he cannot do anything about, there was little that he could do to me.

"I know the answer… however, I will ask it anyway-."

"I plan to kill you, certainly. Please let us not waste words on unnecessary things."

He must have first considered the possibility that I was acting as a double agent, but after a little more contemplation, he knew that was not the case.

I was truely on thier side and there was nothing he could do about that.
