Inori's Death:
Narrator:in a world where sins have physical manifestations just what type of action are we in for.
The Kantei, the official residence and office of the Prime Minister of Japan, located in the Nagatachō district of Chiyoda, Tokyo.
it's 5 in the morning the minimalist building is surrounded with luxury cars as far as the eyes can see, water fountains, Japanese styled furniture, heck even a freaking helicopter garage, truly a RICH MAN'S house.
Father jiro:*slap*
a wealthy tall muscular man wearing a white robe with gold lining, his face is not shown in this scene.
Inori:...(huh?)
a 16 Year old girl with dark blue hair also wearing a white robe with golden lining.
Father jiro: after how well I raised you, weren't you loved enough?!
inori:....(what's happening)
she said with a surprised look in her eyes as a result of shock from the slap.
Father jiro:if this is the path you choose to live,I will be announcing your death today.
Father jiro:I will not kill you with my own hands but if you ever use my name outside.
Father jiro:I promise you DEATH !
Narrator:Father jiro is the prime minister of Japan and inori is his daughter.
inori:.... (what is happening?!)
Father jiro walks outside and tells inori to trail behind him.
Inori complied.
They both walked outside the kantei and enter a Japanese-styled car the Lexus LS, with a price tag of around $77,000.
Father jiro locks the door.
He turns on the engine with the vibration reverberating through inori's body.
A house worker opens the gate and they drive out.
After some time of driving in silence.
Inori: father please forgive me I was not aware-
Father jiro:do you take me for a fool?!
He said abruptly cutting his daughter off.
Inori finches from the fear of seeing her father make such an aggressive face for he is usually a calm man.
Father jiro: what idiot offers himself unknowingly!, do you even know what happens when you make a contract with a sin?!
After that they were both silent throughout the drive.
They arrived at an undeveloped area in Tokyo called Fukui .A coastal city famous for its dinosaur museum, beautiful beaches, and traditional seafood.
Father Jiro opens the door
Father jiro:... out
Inori:f... father please I don't recall doing this!
Father jiro:get out!!
Inori bends down and starts begging.
Father jiro locks the door with a menacing look in his eyes.
Father jiro,: good bye daughter.
He drives off.
Narrator: inori jiro has officially been disowned.
Inori remained there in silence.
Inori:*sniff*
Tears fell from her eyes as she stood up
She dusted the robe she was still wearing
Inori:*breathe*
Inori:in situations like this father would first outline the situation.
inori:....(me...a contract.... with a sin???)
inori:(I do not remember such thing!)
inori:(was it perhaps in my sleep??)
she contemplated whilst wandering around the city she is now in "Fukui"
Inori:....
inori:(my hair is now a different color)
inori:(dark blue)
inori:(so I did make a contract?)
Narrator: the reason why father jiro has now disowned his daughter is because he believes she made a contract with a sin
Narrator: inori,our protagonist has no memory of such thing
Narrator: her hair turned dark blue because humans undergo significant changes after making contracts with a sin
Narrator:it can be a change in physique or behavior think of it like an operation.
Fun fact: people's hair might change color after undergoing surgery.
inori:(I'm cold...)
she said while rubbing her palms together, it's 5 in the morning after all.
Inori was taking in the scenery,as the prime minister's daughter she never had the chance to go to cities like this.
Inori:... the architecture is a mix of traditional and modern styles.
Inori: it's a type of charm new to me
She said while smiling .
Inori:....
inori:(father said I should never use his name)
inori:(he also said he would be announcing my death today)
inori walks for some time then ends up in Katsuyama a small rural city in Fukui
Narrator: however inori has no idea where she is.
Narrator: she was hardly allowed to leave the kantei (the prime minister's house)
inori:*growl*
Her stomach exclaimed demanding food.
inori:oh I didn't eat breakfast.
inori: that must be why my tummy hurts.
inori:.... food will have to wait, I'm going to undo this contract!!
stranger:shut the fuck up! your too loud!!!
stranger 2:yh who the fuck is that?!, it's 6 in the morning!!!
inori:my apologies good sir.
she said while bowing down.
inori:*growl*
inori: father always said there's no food for a lazy man....or woman.
inori:I best go look for a job.
inori walks a bit more looking for a poster for a job application.
it's now 3 in the afternoon.
inori:*breathing heavily*
Sweat dropping from her face.
inori:who knew finding a job was so difficult!
Narrator: inori has been walking for the past 9 hours.
Narrator: she is now in the Katsuyama Central Shopping Street (local shops and restaurants)
inori:*breathe* the scenery looks so new to me.
Inori spots a small restaurant.
The smell of grilled beef and garlic wafted from the restaurant.
Inori:(what is this alluring aroma?!??!)
Her stomach growled even louder!
Inori:hoko beef?
That is the name of the restaurant.
She heads inside and sees the menue on the wall
Inori:1. _Hōkō Beef_: High-quality beef from local cattle, known for its tenderness and rich flavor.
2. _Katsuyama Soba_: Traditional buckwheat noodles served cold or hot, often with local ingredients.
3. _Ayatori Chicken_: Grilled chicken dish marinated in a sweet soy sauce-based sauce.
4. _Fugu_ (Pufferfish): A local delicacy, often served as sashimi or in a hot pot.
5. _Sansai_ (Mountain Vegetables): Wild vegetables foraged from the mountains, often served in soups or salads.
Inori:(oh my God it all sounds so delicious!)
Inori:(but I do not have any currency to purchase any of these)
Chef: hey there pretty lady what's your order?!
The chef wore a White coat,Black pants, White apron,Headband ,Slippers and traditional Japanese shoes.
Inori:(he's talking to me!)
Inori:(father cooked for me all the time it would have been an exciting experience to order for the first time....)
Inori:(but I am lacking in currency)
Inori: I'm not ordering anything
She said with a smile on her face
She left the restaurant
Inori walks some more
Inori:(what am I even doing?)
She said while staggering because of tiredness.
Some time passes by when she notices.
inori: (....I'm definitely tired and hungry but i don't feel like collapsing, is this due to the contract I made with a sin?)
Narrator: making a contract with a sin often gives you certain "abilities"in exchange for something of course.
Inori:(come to think of it what did I even offer for this contract?)
Inori:(was it my hair....no that is hardly worth anything)
Inori:(my legs are tired,I need rest since i haven't eaten)
inori spots an alley with trash.
Inori:... it's not ideal but it'll have to do.
She heads for the alley and rests on the wall
Inori:(.... what would become of me if I can't undo the contract...)
Inori:*sniff*
Inori: enough crying,I should rest and regain my strength)
She doses off after covering herself with a dirty news paper.
She sleeps for 5 hours,it is now 8pm.
Inori is woken from her slumber by a strange sound.
*sniff* *sniff*
inori:...huh?
she said while rubbing her eyes.
a homeless man was smelling her thighs.
inori: JESUS CHRIST!!!
she said while moving away quickly.
homeless man:oh your still alive.
He wore worn out clothes had unkempt hair and a bushy beard sun-damaged skin with Visible signs of fatigue, hunger, and poor health.
inori: please sir you shouldn't smell someone so inappropriately!
homeless man: that's a nice robe you've got there pretty lady.
he said while pointing at inori's robe that's now covered in dirt.
homeless man: how much you want for it
inori:oh it's not for sale
she said while clinging on to the robe
inori: (this is the last thing I have from father,I cannot sell it)
inori:*growl*
homeless man:.... sounds to me like your pretty hungry.
inori.... please ignore that.
she said while blushing.
homeless man:....
he brings out an onigiri a wrapped rice balls and offers it to inori.
homeless man: I'll give it to you for the robe.
inori: thank you for the kind offer sir but it's not for sale.
she stands up and walks away.
homeless man:(strange kid)
he said while eating the rice ball
inori:(I'm famished, the sleep might have restored some of my strength, but I'm still hungry and thirsty)
inori:(I must find a job quickly!)
inori stops walking.
inori: .....something's off...
she peeks behind an ally
Narrator:we have come to the end of the first chapter.
Narrator: and for the first time in her life, inori witnesses a SINNER.
