The three witchers made their way through the city of Novigrad, trying to stay low and avoid attracting any attention. They had managed to shake off the guards that had been chasing them, but they knew they couldn't stay in the city for much longer. They needed to get out of Novigrad and find a way to clear their names.
As they walked through the dark and deserted streets, they suddenly heard a noise behind them. They turned around and saw a group of armed men approaching them. The witchers quickly drew their weapons, ready for a fight.
But the men didn't attack. Instead, their leader stepped forward and spoke.
"I've been looking for you, witchers," he said. "My name is Radovid V, and I have a proposition for you."
The witchers exchanged a quick glance. Radovid V was the king of Redania, and he was known for his ruthless and uncompromising rule.
"What kind of proposition?" asked Geralt.
Radovid V smiled. "I have a problem that needs solving. There's a group of rebels who are causing trouble in my kingdom, and I need them taken care of. I've heard that you witchers are the best at what you do, and I'm willing to pay you handsomely if you can get the job done."
The witchers looked at each other again, considering the offer. They knew they needed money to fund their escape from Novigrad, and Radovid V was offering a lot of it.
"We'll take the job," said Eryk, speaking for the first time.
"Excellent," said Radovid V. "I'll give you all the information you need. But be warned, these rebels are dangerous. They won't go down without a fight."
The witchers nodded, accepting the challenge. They followed Radovid V to his palace, where he gave them the details of the mission. The rebels were hiding out in a nearby forest, and Radovid V wanted them captured alive.
The witchers set out the next day, ready to track down the rebels. They moved through the forest silently, using their senses to detect any signs of life. After a few hours of searching, they finally spotted their target.
The rebels were gathered around a campfire, laughing and joking. They seemed to be relaxed and unaware of the danger that was approaching.
The witchers moved in, attacking from all sides. The rebels put up a good fight, but they were no match for the witchers. Within minutes, they were all subdued and tied up.
The witchers presented the rebels to Radovid V, who was pleased with their work. He paid them the promised sum, but he wasn't done with them yet.
"I have one more task for you," he said, his voice cold and calculating. "There's a powerful mage in the city who's been causing trouble. I want you to capture her and bring her to me. I'll pay you even more for this job."
The witchers hesitated. They had just completed one job for Radovid V, and they didn't want to get any more involved with him than they already were. But the promise of more money was too tempting to resist.
They set out to find the mage, using their skills to track her down. They eventually found her in a run-down building, surrounded by a group of armed guards.
The witchers attacked, fighting their way through the guards and getting to the mage. She was powerful, but they were determined to capture her alive.
They managed to subdue her and bring her to Radovid V, who was pleased with their success. He paid them the promised sum and released them from their service.
The witchers left the city of Novigrad.
