Serena could see by the way Charlton's throat bobbed that he liked what he saw. Emboldened, she moved to position herself on top of him, her legs on each side of his as she sat on his lap. She was thinking of playing vixen but as they sat there face to face, she couldn't help reaching out her hand to caress his face. 

Charlton was not sure what Serena was getting at, but two must play the game. He used his right hand to settle hers on his cheek and leaned his face towards it. "What are you thinking?" he asked.

Serena smiled gently then she shook her head. "It's nothing…"

Charlton angled his face to kiss her hand, "Tell me." he urged sweetly.

"It's just that, I can't believe that you're here with me now. As if… as if nothing has changed…" she said softly.
