9th of July 23rd year of Edward V's reign

It was another Monday, and since the house of lords has commenced their meetings in mid-June, majority of its members have already congregated in the capital and were currently standing on the palace grounds in attendance.

There was a certain buzz amongst the members and the most popular topic of conversation was Charlton who just returned to the capital the other day. Even though they all heard his talk with the king during the Charlotte's ball, they could not help but speculate the real reason of his return at this time.

Not long after, Charlton's car entered the palace gates and some of the members noticed. Thus, they ceased that topic and instead, their eyes followed in curiosity. Meanwhile, those from the higher nobility feigned nonchalance. Anyhow, everything would be unveiled later.
