3. a kidnapper!
"Who's Rem?" Aether looked at Paimon hoping for the smallest clue. However, looking at Paimon's expression for a second, Aether got the answer.
"Let's ask around, Rem might be a famous person around here!" Paimon suggested.
Aether let out a small smile "Yeah, let's go it's better than standing still. We also haven't eaten lunch yet"
"Food! Let's go!!"
Paimon and Aether started to wander around the city. After a few more Paimon's treasure sense. They at least got enough to go by for today. After lunch, they also look for information asking about Rem here and there. In the middle, they found someone in danger like a child who fell in the middle of the road with a fast carriage which Aether lent a hand.
There's also a lost child that Aether helped to find his parents. And some others…
Aether found a few pieces of information like the country they were now called Kingdom Lugnica, or how currency works in this country. However, they failed to find what they truly wanted to know. Who is Rem?
No matter which civilian they asked, their answers were "Who's Rem?"
Aether and Paimon are already tired of hearing that sentence.
After walking around the city all this time they realized that the day was going to end soon.
With that Aether suggested "Let's find an inn or something to rest and continue looking tomorrow"
"Paimon thought the same," Paimon replied.
With no refusal from Paimon, it didn't take long before Aether found a place to rest. When he found it it was already dark outside.

"Welcome~" The receptionist slash mascot young girl sitting behind the counter instantly shouted when Aether entered.
"Dinner or Rest?" She asked when Aether stood in front of the reception table.
"I want to rest" was what Aether tried to say but… in the middle of his sentence.
Aether felt everything around him disconnected and shaking strangely he instantly turned her head to Paimon.
"!? Ehh! What happened!?" Paimon also reacted in fear.
"What happen-" Once again, Aether couldn't finish his words as everything turned dark.

[If you watched Rezero I'm sure you guys know what I meant by that sfx]
When everything went back to normal. Aether finds himself back in the alleyway where he found a silver coin with Paimon.
"Paimon!!" He called "Do you know what happened?"
"Ughh" Paimon tapped her head a few times to clear her jumbled vision and memories.
"There's something wrong with the time"
"Time?"
"Un" Paimon nodded and explained "Whether the time turned back or our memories were sent back to the past, whichever the case we're back to the past"
"Do you know the reason?" Aether asked.
This time Paimon shook her head. "Paimon doesn't know… but Paimon could feel the source of the disturbance at the time. That way" Paimon pointed in one direction.
"Good job!" Aether praised Paimon with a head pat.
"Ehehe" Paimon smiled happily.
"Can you bring me there?" Aether asked. He knew he had to find someone named Rem. However, it wouldn't be funny if the time turned back every evening.
(And I need to save Rem. Which means he/she has to be in Danger. The center of the disturbance in time might be the danger she was in) Aether thought.
"Paimon can, Let's go! Ugh!" Paimon suddenly let out a pained voice.
"What happened!?" Aether reacted.
"Paimon, just remember, at this time, Paimon hasn't eaten lunch yet. Paimon hungry hehe"
"..." Aether was speechless "Let's eat on the way, there were street vendors everywhere. One silver coin should be enough. If it's not let's take some treasure we found before"
"Yeayy!! Let's goo!!"
Paimon and Aether went on their way.
"Hamu!" Paimon chomped the chicken skewers we bought on the way.
Aether stared at her and the chicken skewers on her hand also became transparent the moment Aether gave it to her (How does it work?)
(Nah) Aether decided to forget (It's useless to think about Paimon) Aether turned his head away. Then…
"Hmm?" He found a young girl with green hair. She stood still looking confused like she didn't know where to go.
"Isn't she the lost girl from before?" Aether asked Paimon for confirmation.
Paimon took her eyes from her food for a second "Un!" She nodded as her mouth was full.
Then like the first run, Aether went to help the girl.
""What's the matter?"" His voice merged with another voice he didn't know when Aether crouched in front of the girl.
Aether turned and saw a beautiful long silver-haired elf girl.
(Who is she? She wasn't here before. If I made the same move as before the result should be the same as before. Which means it should be only me alone who helped this lost girl.) Aether thought
(The only difference is that we didn't stop at the restaurant to eat lunch. Which means I arrived faster than before. If this girl went to help before me in the last run. I shouldn't be able to find this lost girl. Means there's something different with this girl's behavior from the last run)
The elf girl quickly picked Aether's curiosity as the elf girl might be related to the disturbance of time.
The Elf girl was also surprised to see Aether. Both Aether and Elf girl's attention was on the lost child that they didn't realize somebody besides them. They stared at each other for a moment…
"Hiks uu hiks" When the lost girl started to cry both Aether and Elf girl quickly turned their eyes toward her.
"H, hey… don't cry" The Elf girl tried to calm the lost child.
While Aether already experienced it before he skilfully took out one flower from his inventory 'Windwheel Aster' and showed it to the girl.
"Look at this" Aether said and blew a little wind on the flower. As the flower turned around the lost girl looked at it curiously.
"Try to blow on it," Aether suggested.
When the girl blew on it the Windwheel Aster turned again "hehe" the girl giggled.
"And this is for you" Aether put the flower on the lost girl's hand. And he said "Let's find your parents"
Aether already knew she was a lost girl from the last run. He also didn't want to waste time so he grabbed her hand to lead her to her mother like before. But…
"Wait a minute!" The elf girl grabbed Aether.
The Elf girl crouched in front of the lost girl "Do you know this Mister?" She asked while pointing her finger at Aether.
The lost girl softly shook her head.
Seeing that The Elf girl stood up and blocked Aether's way. "Who are you? She didn't know you! Don't tell me… a kidnapper!!"
"No!" Aether quickly denied "I'm bringing her to her Mother" he explained.
However, the elf girl is unable to trust Aether. "How do you know she was a lost child? She didn't say a thing to you" The elf girl asked warily.
At this point, Aether knew he made a mistake (There's no way I could say I knew it before the time turned back. Or I helped to find her mother before.) He thought.
"If you don't believe me, why don't you come with us? That way you could see whether I'm lying or not" Aether said (I also wanted to ask you a few questions, it's better if you come with us)
The Elf girl nodded while still looking at Aether suspiciously. "Let's go find your parents" the elf girl smiled at the lost girl and grabbed her other hand.
Then the three went hand in hand to find the lost girl's mother.

Louis_Hometo Now, I realize my naivety. while writing fanfic I don't need to think about many things like place, character, outfits, and others. every small detail I need to think about if I wrote an Original story.
I thought it would be easier to write fanfic than an original story.
I found the sinkhole in writing fanfic.
Grasping and understanding the characters made by others wasn't an easy thing to do. Darn it!
Especially in dialogue, I need to understand their personality before I could use them so that it wasn't changed too far from the original.
Anyway, when we played Genshin Impact as traveler, we can choose between 1-3 answers as traveler and most of the time it shows a different personality from traveler.
For that reason I'll make my own Aether's personality.
and I'll try my best to make the other character's personality as similar as canon.
Please tell me if I made a mistake in the character's personality.
