Capítulo 215: Silent vow

Alastair dragged his dispirited body towards his room and plopped on his bed. His mind could not shake off Samantha's sorrow filled face, and all he wanted was to return to her and hold her in his arms again. But the animal in him was forcing him to not break down and do something equally important as well.

Eventually, the beast in him won, and Alastair teleported to the cave where Kirill was waiting for him already.

'I thought you wouldn't make it today.'  Kirill commented and stood up. The cave was quite huge and wide, enabling him to stand up perfectly, without having to bend his neck or body.

'I wouldn't have if not for you forcing me to come here. Also, my responsibility towards our King overtook my love for our girl. I could not stop myself even if I wanted to.' Alastair ran a hand through his hair, frustrated by how events had turned out.
