"Miss I'm sorry, I-"
"I refuse!" suddenly Helena shouted loudly while hugging Delima's hand.
Her face lifted, staring at the security guard with an angry look and tears flowing from her eyes.
"But miss, I'm really- "
"I really don't want..." this time Helena whined as she hugged Delima tightly.
"Never mind, Mr. Yono, let her be my business. Next time, don't repeat it, sir!" said Delima, rubbing Helena's arm that was covered in a navy blazer.
"Get out, do what I tell you." Bastian's words this time have softened.
The security guard left after Bastian's orders, leaving Bastian, Delima, and Helena in the room.
"Please take her to sit," said Bastian, giving instructions to bring Helena to sit on the sofa.
Delima nodded in understanding. She brought Helena to the sofa in the room, then help Helena sit there. After that, Delima asked for permission to open Helena's blazer.
After getting Helena's approval, Delima helped Helena take off the blazer. It was just short shirt with blending a bright gray skirt.
"Astagfirullah! bruises Na!" said Delima, surprised when she saw the gripped an arm of Helena.
Bastian firstly looked away because he felt awkward seeing Helena take off her blazer. He turned his head back and saw what his secretary had said.
"It's not full because of that person. It's because I fell on the stairs." Helena replied telling.
"So you endured this pain from earlier?" asked Bastian in disbelief.
The bruises on Helena's hands were not small. Her arms were almost blue mixed with a reddish.
"Have you been to the hospital?" asked Delima also to Helena.
"Yes, I go to the clinic with Nina. But the bruises won't go away," replied Helena.
"Sir, I'll buy a small towel first for the compress and inform the members of Helena's division. They'll definitely ask where Helena went." Said Delima got up and immediately left the room after getting the boss' approval.
Now only Helena and Bastian were in the room. Although a little awkward, Bastian tried to lighten the mood by asking.
"You have an important task today?" Bastian asked softly. He didn't want to stress Helena.
"No sir, I'll deliver my job tomorrow," answered Helena quietly.
Then they fell silent again.
Suddenly, Helena's cell phone rang loudly. It was on the table, exactly in the blazer's pocket that was placed on the table.
"Hello Nina?"
Helena picked up the call after getting permission from the boss. Because it's impolite to take calls carelessly in front of other people, especially superiors.
"Where are you? I heard that the security guard caught you because you steal from the boss's car! How can it be?" asked Nina in one breath and without the slightest pause.
"it's just a misunderstanding. Don't worry. I'll be back in the room soon," Helena said in a cheerful voice. It's like nothing bad happening.
"Ok. Just watch out for the security guard. I've been circumcised twice, then he knows!" Nina growled before finally ending the call with a greeting.
Helena played with her cellphone for a moment while texting her boss that she was fine and there was no serious problem. When she had just finished typing a message.
Bastian suddenly appeared in front of her, then surprised Helena.
"What's the matter, sir?" asked Helena in surprise.
"May I see your bruises?" asked Bastian politely.
Bastian was determined. If Helena refused, then he would not force it. Because it would not be polite to touch or look without permission.
"Yes," said Helena, extending her hand easily with no suspicion from the girl.
It was easy to get her permission. His brow furrowed. Is it because this girl is innocent or she used to being touched by the opposite sex?
"I think you'll refuse," Bastian said, noticing the bruises which were more obvious when looked at closely.
"Why?"
"Yes… considering you scolded me this morning for giving me the car keys easily. You shouldn't have allowed something like this," said Bastian, letting go of Helena's hand. He kept sitting beside Helena.
"Hmm… I think no problem if you just wanna see because you're worried," Helena answered bluntly.
Bastian heard the answer and breathed a little harshly. So Helena was beside him could hear it.
"What is it?" Helena asked curiously why the man sighed heavily.
"I really don't have any bad intention to you. It's just that next time you are with a man alone in a closed room. Please try to keep some distance. Especially for people you just recognize or meet," said Bastian calmly and lightly.
"Why?" Helena asked, changing her position to face Bastian.
"Because not everyone helps sincerely. There is also bad intention. There's nothing wrong with being careful. Especially you're a woman. It's quite sensitive." Bastian said, exposing his head to Helena.
Helena's smile was appeared on the girl's face, then she nodded as a sign that she understood.
"Thank you, sir, for your advice. I'll definitely remember." Helena said with a gentle smile.
"By the way, how old are you?" continued Helena asked.
"Age?"
"Yes, your age. If you don't mind answering." Helena said cheerfully.
Bastian didn't know why. There was a feeling of supporting Helena's smile. It's difficult to describe in words or meaning.
"I'm 31 years old soon, how about you?" asked Bastian also replied.
"Me? I just turned 24 last month." Helena answered.
"Ah, I remember Delima doesn't work overtime although had a lot of work," said Bastian.
He remembering that last month his secretary had taken part in an employee's birthday party.
"Really? I don't know. I don't know they prepared it at a cafe close to my boarding house," said Helena, remembering the sweet incident.
"You're very lucky. Delima is not the type of person who involves personal matters with work. But she can leave work for you," said Bastian.
"Yes sir, because I look like her younger sister who died 7 years ago," replied Helena, still smiling.
"I see,"
They changed the subject because it's sensitive and too personal, especially since the person being discussed was not there.
While they were talking, the door opened after a knock. It was Delima that came with a crackle bag in hand.
"Are both of you discussing?"
