Capítulo 4: Immortallity

Ken woke up again, and again, he remembered that he just died.

"That's... bizarre." He didn't think about this but.. where are his pains? He slightly remembered the pain of dying the first time he die, but this second time he didn't. As he stands up, he felt his whole body sore.

"ough, I really need a massage", He said as he looked around and found himself in a tent, with a small bed and a small table with foreign foods that smells delicious on top of it he then opened the tent and saw small creatures moving about, he immediately got remembered by something that resembles these creatures, and that was.. fairy? Yes fairy with wings and all as well as an elf that was tall with long ears and typical pure faces.

One of the fairies then came to me and started talking, "How are you? I found your body in the forest, I thought you were dead but luckily you're not."

"How you talk my language?", Ken asked.

"We fairies are blessed with natural communication power that lets us communicate with all creatures", the fairy answered with a bright smile. The appearance of this fairy is that of a woman with short hair and simple clothes in green with a height no taller than 10 cm.

An elf that was as tall as 2 meters if not even more then approached Ken too. He began talking but can't be understood.

"I'm sorry for our simpleness and poverty looking, I hope this sir won't mind", the fairy said.

"huh?"

"That was what he said", the fairy said as she pointed her finger at the elf that was just talking. Seeing the confused look on Ken's face, the fairy then explained, "We as both races of nature share a mutual bond with each other, the natural element of elf is a nourishment for us and in exchange, we help them with communication.

"Ah, a translator, oh and uh thanks for taking me here, but did he just say "sir" to me?

"I always translate as correct as possible", said the fairy with a prideful face.

Then I faced the elf and asked why I was called "sir"

The elf then answered, "b...amo...nat...ne...s..."

I understood some letter spoken by the elf and by the end, the fairy then translated it for me.

The elf explained that when He was found, the natural element energy released from him far surpassed any elf, even the elf queen that was called nature herself because of her connection to nature element. The nature element itself is a fusion of water and wood elements. The wood element being an auxiliary element of solid, it is also said that elves with the highest affinity to wood or water element can be considered lucky as their affinity towards the nature element will often be strong too.

"Hey"

"Hm?"

"Don't Hm? Me! How are you conversing with Elarc so fluently??", The fairy asked with a staggering voice.

"Eh now that I thought about it..", the elf that was called Elarc also realized.

"Oh don't worry I seem to have an ability like that although it takes time to take effect", Ken said calmly as if it was normal although he often wonders.

"Ooh are you by some chance a crossbreed between fairy and elf??", Elarc said with starry eyes.

"???"

"ELARC!!", the fairy shouted with a beet-red face.

"No, I'm not, actually I also don't know why I'm here but I'm definitely a human.", Ken answered with his gaze swept through the fairy as if he knows what was happening.

"Oh", the elf said with a dejected voice. The elf then continued, "well then, we will continue what we were doing, please enjoy your stay here, sir, and don't hesitate to ask me for help."

"I will keep that in mind", Ken then stood up and walked back to his tent.

After walking for some time, Elarc then asked his friends, "keep an eye on him, but don't be obvious, we don't wanna lose an ally as powerful as him, but also cautious because we don't know if he is a spy".

"I was already going to do that", said the other elf.

Elarc nodded and continued his business.

Inside the tent, Ken kept thinking about all the things that just happened, his death, being paraded into the city, awakening power, getting called by god, told something that he argues a mortal should know, getting sent back, an alien came, attacked him after asking his name with laughter then ran off just as he prepared to attack, by the time he got outside, his attack actually got too strong and he panicked, threw it away and... he died, then woke up here..

"I get it! That was just a dream, yeah this is also a dream, I will just sleep. But I also don't want this to only be a dream... ahh. Let's just try some things", Ken then got up.

He tried his first spell, fireball, but this time he slowed down the flow that he felt, and slowly from a spark, a small ball of flame appeared, growing bigger and bigger at a slow rate, then He cut off the flow and the flame ball quickly shrunk so fast until nothing was left.

"Eh how do I do this? How to maintain it", I scratched my head in a confused manner.

"Let's try to ask him"

I then got up from the small bed and walked, but his gaze landed on the nice-smelling food on the table.

"Might as well eat this first", He said.

After that He then looked for Elarc, the elf earlier. It was not long before he found him in a large tent that seemed to be for a meeting.

Seeing him, Elarc smiled and greeted him, "How's your stay here sir?"

"It's nice here, thanks. By the way, I need to ask you something about the element.."

"Sure, it would be my honor to help you, sir"

He then asked Elarc about all the things he wanted to know about elements. When He mentioned that he uses fireball, a flame element spell, Elarc was surprised with a tint of awareness that appeared in his eye but quickly disappeared.

"I don't really know the usage of the flame element, but all element functions the same so you should be fine using the method I told you", the elf answered with a smile.

Ken then thanked him and went back to his tent with a happy feeling but also slight worries because of the change of attitude after he mentioned the flame element.

"I don't know from what element flame was derived, but it's sure not from water or wood", He thought so He figured that maybe they have some resentment towards another element, maybe some kind of arrogance.

As of this moment, Ken still doesn't know that he had already become a target for all elves around him.

Elarc got into the tent and spoke with a grim voice, "a spy had infiltrated this place".

"What? Impossible. How could that be", said one of the elves.

"Elarc, this is not the time for a joke, our concealment array is the best."

"Was it that human you brought here Elarc?"

*gasp*, the gasping sound sounded throughout the tent.

The fairy that is with Elarc, the same fairy that translated Ken's conversation then said, "impossible! I felt no ominous feeling from him, only interest!"

Elarc then continued, "I'm not done, I have proof to this, and that is he has a flame element!"

As a race of nature that loves nurturing and life, an element of destruction like a fire is greatly disliked, and with their rival race, the dwarfs that excel at that, their resentment only grew stronger to the point of deeming it a heresy to have flame element.

"T-Then.. We must eliminate him right??", one of the elves said with a loud voice.

"No, we flee. I hope it's not late.", Elarc said slowly, making all the elves surprised, the unyielding and strong-headed Elarc, that hero of the elf race that saved them from the dwarf raid 300 years ago, told them to flee.

"But why? Is he really that scary?", asked one of the elves.

"You might think that I'm exaggerating but his element energy far surpasses ours, no, even our queen!

"I'm not joking now, prepare all for departure, meanwhile I hold him here.", Elarc said, ordering all elves for a sudden journey.

Meanwhile, Ken was laying comfortably on the small bed, playing with 4 element balls in his hand, water, wind, fire, and soil, trying to get comfortable with these new powers.

A voice then sounded outside his tent, "can I come in?", Elarc's voice said with a tone of awareness.

Ken then welcomed him to the tent, while Elarc hesitantly walked inside.

"So what's the matter?", Ken asked.

"Oh no... no nothing", Elarc said with a stiff voice. "I just want to know how you learn flame element", he said while secretly chanting inside his head.

"I learned it from when I was awakened, I remember it was a building inside a city, but then it-", a dozen strands of vines then sprouted from the ground and quickly bound the surprised Ken, completely immobilizing him.

"I knew it! Those pathetic dwarves, even using a human as bait, don't worry, even if you have their weird devices inside your body, I will kill you swiftly!", Elarc said as he commands another vine then rose from the ground, going for Ken's head.

"Wait, Wait! It was a misunderst-"

"sploosh*, he was beheaded by the thick vine that splattered his head instantly.

Elarc then retracted the vines, feeling totally confused. "Wasn't this human strong? how did he die just like that?", he thought inwardly as he looked at the headless corpse on the ground.

a few moments later, just as Elarc was gonna go back to inform the other elves, a huge amount of solid element can be felt from the headless corpse, connecting it to the soil below it and absorbing it, a head-shaped soil ball also formed and attached it to the body's neck, becoming its new head. The magical phenomena surprised and terrifies the elf until he falls on his butt.

When the head completely formed, the facial features appeared and returned to how it was before. And at this moment, He opened his eyes and got up staggeringly and spoke in a hoarse voice, "Fock why am I always dying?", He then looked around and was surprised to see the same surrounding, the only difference is the flattened skeleton as well as a large amount of blood behind him and the terrified elf in front of him.

The both of them looked at each other, one of them confused and the other terrified that he pissed himself.
