They gave up on their original mission and became consumed by the fame and fortune that came with their status.

Those who still had a glimmer of goodness eventually fell prey to greed.

Villains masqueraded as rats until it was their turn to thrive.

Now, the world was crumbling apart and tumbling down before everyone's eyes.
