[Level up!]

[Clear condition met. Dungeon cleared, calculating rewards]

[Rewards for clearing the dungeon]…
.
[You cleared the dungeon alone! You have earned extra rewards]…
. . .
'The rewards are even better than what I expected, to be honest.' Since Ren always cleared the dungeons alone, the rewards were always generous, both from the normal rewards and the ones for solo clear.
'I should leave now, I'll check everything later.'
Ren left the dungeon after receiving the rewards. Now that he was level 26, Ren was eager to raid the dungeon at a level that no one had raided before. Of course, no one would expect a new student to level up this much in just one month, frankly speaking, it is supposed to be impossible. But then again, using normal standards for Ren would be the mistake here.
"Done already? Back in three hours then?" The guard at the portal asked.
"Yeah."
"How's that even possible? Didn't you say he entered the dungeon just before I came?"
"He did. No need to over think it, just accept it as it is."
There was another guard there, and understandably, saying he was shocked would be an understatement. Ren had become a kind of bragging chip for the guard who was normally stationed there, and how exactly that happened, for him to even become a bragging chip… well, it was left for the guards there. Not being at the warfront was already plenty for some and others were satisfied being in a safe place acting as guards even though they were Sergeants, it was still a pretty nice job.
'Going back to raid at this level might be too much for me at this time, so maybe I should build up my strength more.'
For the time being, Ren was yet to explore his new skill, so that was also playing as a factor as to why he was feeling reluctant to raid the dungeon.
'Also, I might want to attend some classes too.'
The next day, Ren attended his classes, and as expected, for someone obviously as popular as Ren, his absence was immediately noticed right from day one. Ever since he enrolled, Ren had been very popular with both students and staff because of the phenomena he created. Of course, the others were also popular, but he took the larger share of the cake.
After the classes, Ren headed to the library to test his new skill, but unfortunately it didn't quite function the way he thought it would. Simply reading about a skill from a book wasn't enough to pick up any information, which meant even though his 'Detective's Sight' skill was activated, he couldn't decipher anything from studying the books.
"This won't do…" Thinking of it more, Ren remembered something. Being him, there were naturally a lot of people who would want to fight him for different reasons, though what he was looking for at the moment was someone to fight him with at least good intentions.
'I already have a good list of who those people will be.'
What Ren wanted was to create an AOE skill, or at least a skill attacked multiple enemies at the same time and was very efficient and effective.
Of course, he could just create a skill through the same method he had done the detective's sight and cloud of thunder and lightning, but that still left too much room for a lot of uncertainties and uncontrollable variables.
'Since my skills will work with each other if they have synchronization, I should it a try.'
Ren waited for the sun to go down. He could ask for a fight during the sparring classes, but then they would be under supervision and may not be able to showcase their skills at a good enough power.
Knowing that the people he had in mind were conditional battle maniacs, Ren had full confidence in his plan.
"Yo, what's up? Where are you guys headed?" Ren had 'coincidentally' bumped into Ray, Ash, and Damien while going to get something to eat.
"Hey, Ren…"
"What's up…"
"Yo…"
"Man, you've been scarce these days, what've you been up to?" Ash asked. He was the type who was free with everybody, and even though he and Ren weren't that close, he would still talk comfortably and casually with him whenever, and to be honest, Ren preferred the less stuck up approach compared to some.
"Nothing much, just raiding dungeons."
"Yeah Ray, we told you, didn't we? This guy was actually out there running solo raids in that dungeon… how crazy is that?"
"If it's true, it's definitely wild. Is it?" Seemed Ray could not believe it even after hearing it from two of his friends.
"It's true, but that's no big deal…"
They talked for a bit more about some different partially unrelated topics before Ren sprang up the idea.
"Why don't we have a little spar right now to see how much we've all grown after one month in the academy?" Ren proposed. Knowing the kind of people he was talking to, he was sure his plan would work. If anything, the fact that Ash was present was all the reason for it to work, because he had a way of convincing people, well, Ren excluded as far as he knew.
"Yeah, that'll be good! We never get a chance normally after all, so it should be good!" Ash hyped everyone up.
'Now that I think of it, Ray and Damien might not want to use any real offensive skill, and even if they do, it'll be nowhere near half strength even.' Well, this was because Ray was for the most part a goodie two shoes and played the part of the righteous hero. Ray aside, Damien was a very cautious person, sometimes too much for his own good, so he naturally wouldn't want to do anything that could lead to any form of repercussion later on because of a mistake. That would leave Ash, but then again he wasn't the only target.
"Actually, why don't we enter a dungeon tomorrow so we won't have to worry about any thing and we can showcase our skills at the strongest?"
"Yeah, that sounds like a better idea." Immediately, Ren could see how much the expression on Ray's face shifted to a more relaxed and at ease one.
The plan was set, so they were going to raid a dungeon the next day as a team to mainly test their skills and do a little competition. 'Great, I know a perfect dungeon that will allow all of us to enter.'
